THE PRAYER THAT UNLOCKS HEAVEN: THE NAME OF JESUS IS THE ACCESS TO THE HEART OF THE FATHER; AND THE WORD IS JESUS ! We have a key that unlocks the door of our automobile. We may say that we unlock the door, but really is the key that does it. We also have a key that fits the ignition. We couldn't start the car without this key. This key is the important factor in driving the car. We couldn't get anywhere without it. The Word of God is a important factor in our prayer life, without it you will not get very far. Now remember, the word of God is the answer to every situation or circumstance that is threatening your life. THE NAME OF JESUS: There is a key to prayer that will unlock the doors and windows of heaven and grant our every need. Without this key we can't get anywhere. This key is found in (John 16): (John 16:23-24). "And in that day you shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, whatsoever you shall ask The Father in my name, he will give it you. Hitherto have you asked nothing in my name: ask, and you shall receive, that your joy may be full." Jesus Is Our Mediator, Intercessor, Advocate, and Lord. He stands between us and the Father. No place in the Bible is it ever recorded that Jesus told His disciples to pray to Him. They all ways were told to pray to the Father in His name. Therefore, if we want to be sure our prayers reach the throne of God, we must come according to the rules laid down in His Word. In the above scripture, Jesus said, "In that day you shall as me nothing." He said this to His disciples before He went away. He was talking about His present position As Mediator, seated at the right hand of the Father. Another translation reads, "In that day you shall not pray to me." Jesus said to ask The Father in His Name. This is the key that will unlock heaven in our behalf ; In (Revelation 19:11-12-13). The apostle John writes, "And I saw heaven opened and, behold, a white horse; and he that sat Upon Him Was Called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood; and his name is called The Word of God." We Can Tell Jesus How Much We Love Him, but when it comes to praying, we must ask the father through the Lord Jesus. Remember God has said, "Put Me in remembrance [remind Me of your merits]; let us plead and argue together. Set forth your case. That you may be justified (proved right)." The amplified Bible. The King James Bible, "put me in remembrance; let us plead together; declare thou, that thou mayest be justified." Well, what are you going to put God in remembrance of ? The sin or iniquity that is under the blood of Jesus ! Are what is written in the Word of God concerning His promises to you ! (Ephesians 3:14-15) says, "For this cause I bow my knees unto the father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named." It is not important which building we belong to, but it is important which family we belong to. Hitherto have you asked nothing in my Word that your joy may be full ! Ask and you shall receive.
