Now if we have died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him ." (Colossians 3:5 through 7) "Modify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanliness, inordinate affection, evil desire, and covetousness which is idolatry, for which things sake the wrath of God comes on the sons of disobedience; in the which you also once walked, when you lived in them." Modify, that word means to kill the unholy urges or the body, flesh. You should take this word modify as a weapon against every contrary urge every contrary fleshly thought that raises itself up against the knowledge of God, and bring it into captivity to the obedience of Christ Jesus (YESHUA). What did Jesus do on the cross ? The Scripture says, He killed sin. I know that there are perhaps millions of believers that think that they are going to go to the heavens where, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit are an live in the flesh. With all its appetites and desires I don't think so. You can attend the biggest place that is called church and steel go to the place of the dead. We are told the ministry of the kingdom of God. Yes, we are told by the Holy Ghost, by revelation through the mouth of the Apostle Paul to modify the deeds of the flesh. "For those who are according to the flesh and are controlled by its unholy desires set their minds on and pursue those things which gratify the flesh, but those who are according to the Spirit and are controlled by the desires of the Spirit set their minds on and seek those things which gratify the Holy Spirit. Now the mind of the flesh which is sense (sin) and reason without the Holy Spirit is dead death that comprises all the miseries arising from sin, both here and hereafter. But the mind of the Holy Spirit is life and soul piece both now and forever. That is because the mind of the flesh with its called thoughts and purposes is hostile to God, for it does not submit itself to God's Law (The Law of Faith) indeed it cannot." So then those who are living the life of the flesh catering to the appetites and impulses of their carnal nature cannot please or satisfy God, or be acceptable to Him." (Romans 8:5 through 8) now brothers and sisters I beg you, not to think it strange that you have to modify, kill, crucify your members that are upon the earth: But if the Holy Spirit of Him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also give life to your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwells in you. Therefore brothers and sisters, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. For if you live after the flesh, you shall die; you shall be completely cut off from fellowship with the eternal God of all creation. But if you through the Holy Spirit, do modify the deeds of the body, you shall live." I don't know about you, but I know what this Bible says about living for God. It's more than just attending what is called church. By the way Christ Jesus did not come preaching Christianity, he came preaching the kingdom of God is at hand. For the most part, all these different versions of Christianity are man-made and full of emotionalism it's fleshly. Therefore, kill and destroy the lifeline of every contrary inordinate affection and the carnality of the flesh. So, when you kill it, there will be a resurrection from each unit, spirit, soul, and body. From each part of your life. There will be a resurrection for each part body, soul, and spirit that you kill by obedience to Christ Jesus that resurrection will give you access to the things above that resurrection will qualify you to download the treasures of the Holy Spirit of God. You see, every time you fight against the spirit of immorality and bring it to death. There is a certain glory from the realms of Christ that will be deplored into the spirit and soul as well as your body that glorifies God in areas of your life that others may see Christ Jesus in you through the resurrected life from the dead .
