How to effectively use the power of lust and affections # 4

My brothers and sisters in Christ, "if you then have died with Christ to material ways of looking at things and have escaped from the world's crude and elemental notions and teachings of externalism, why do you live as if you still belong to the world ? Why do you submit to rules and regulations ? Such as Do no handle this, Do not taste that, Do not even touch them, referring to things all of which parish with being used. To do this is to follow human percepts and doctrines. Such practices have indeed the outward appearance that properly passes wisdom and promoting self-imposed rigor of devotion and delight in self humiliation and severity of discipline of the body, but they are of no value in checking the indulgence of the flesh (the lower nature). Instead, they do not honor God but serve only to indulge the flesh. Brothers and sisters, if then you have been risen with Christ to a new life, and sharing His resurrection from the dead, aim at and seek the rich, eternal treasures that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. And set your minds and keep them set on what is above (the higher things of the REALMS of God, not on the things that are on the earth. For as far as this world is concerned you have died, and your new real life is hidden with Christ in God. And God so rich is He in His mercy ! Because of and in order to satisfy the great and wonderful and intense love with which He loved us, Even when we were dead [slain by our own shortcomings and trespasses, He made us alive together in fellowship and in union with Christ; He gave us the very life of Christ Himself, the same new life which He made alive in Him, for it is by grace His favor and mercy which you did not deserve that you are saved delivered from judgment and made partakers of Christ's salvation. And He raised us up together with Him and made us sit down together giving us joint seating with him in the heavenly sphere (REALMS) by virtue of our being in Christ Jesus the Messiah The Anointed One. beloved brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus, our counterpart is awaiting for you and me to be fully developed in true holiness and righteousness by the Holy Spirit. That we may become clothe with the counterpart that is seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. He did this that He might clearly demonstrate through the ages to come the immeasurable limitless, surpassing riches of His free grace His unmerited favor and willingness in His kindness and goodness of heart toward us in Christ Jesus. For it is by free grace God's unmerited favor and willingness that you are saved delivered from judgment and made partakers of Christ's salvation through your faith. This salvation is not of yourself of your own doing, it came not through your own striving, but it is the gift of God; not because of works not the fulfillment of the Law's demands, lest any man should boast. It is not the result of what anyone can possibly do, so no one can pride himself in it or take glory to himself. For we are God's own handiwork His workmanship re-created in Christ Jesus, born anew that we may do those good works which God predestined beforehand for us to take paths which He prepared ahead of time, that we should walk in them living the good life which He said is prearranged and made ready for us to leave therefore, remember that at one time you were Gentile (heathens) in the flesh, called uncircumcision by those who call themselves circumcised, circumcision is a mere human mark, in the flesh made by human hands. Circumcision has to do with cutting away the excess flesh, of a young man's private parts; However, the circumcision that is needed in the human spirit-man is the cutting away the excess affections and lust of the flesh in the human body.(Galatians 5: 2 through 6) Notice, it is I Paul, who tells you that if you receive circumcision, Christ will be of no profit (advantage, avail) to you [for if you distrust Him, you can gain nothing from Him. I once more protests and testify to every man who receive circumcision that he is under obligation and bound to practice the whole of the Law of Moses, and its ordinances. If you seek to be justified and declared righteous and to be given a right standing with God through the Law, you are brought to nothing and so separated (severed) from Christ. You have fallen away from grace (from God's gracious favor and unmerited blessing. For we, do not rely on the Law of Moses, but on and through the Holy Spirit's Help, by faith anticipate and wait [serve God in obedience for the blessing and good for which our righteousness and right standing with God, our conformity to His will in purpose, thought, and action, causes us to hope. For if we are in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor Uncircumcision counts for anything, but only faith activated and energized and expressed and working through love." This is how the spirit of just men are made perfect, for only through the Word of God; can the spirit man be separated from the flesh. Remember that you were at that time separated living apart from Christ excluded from all parts in Him, utterly estranged and outlawed from the rights of Israel as a nation, and strangers with no share in the sacred compacts of the Messianic promise with no knowledge of or rights in God agreements, His covenants and you had no hope no promise; you were in the world without God. But now in Christ Jesus you who once were so far away, body and blood of Christ have been brought near. For He is Himself our peace our bond of unity and harmony. He has made us both Jew and Gentile one body, and has broken down destroy, abolished the hostile dividing wall between us. By abolishing in His own crucified flesh the enmity caused by the Law with its decrees and ordinances which He may ineffective; that He from the two might create in Himself one new man one new quality of humanity out of two, so making peace. And he designed to reconcile to God both Jew and Gentile, united in a single body by means of His cross, thereby killing the mutual enmity (fleshly impulses) and bringing the feud to an end. Brothers and sisters if we are saying that we are following Christ, we too must pick up our cross, to kill the inordinate affections, evil desires, unholy impulses, Yes we must modify the deeds of the body: the unholy desires that the body craves or not you. The Scripture says (Romans 8:13) "for if you live according to the dictates of the flesh, you will surely die. But if through the power of the Holy Spirit you are habitually putting to death (making extinct, deadening the evil deeds prompted by the body, you share really a genuinely live forever."
