THE LIGHT OF THE WORD !

THE LIGHT OF THE WORD: That is the reason the psalmist of old said, "The entrance of thy words giveth light. . ." (Psalms 119:130). When we know the Word, we are not praying in the dark. We have light. Again the psalmist said, "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path" (Psalms 119:105). We are not walking in darkness. Our pathway is lighted when we have the Word ! If we have a lighted pathway, we can walk in that light. " . . . If we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another. . ." (1 John 1:7). This doesn't say a thing about standing in the light. It says "walk." And walking, notes actions ! God's Word is a light unto the path that we walk. The psalmist also prayed: " . . . Quicken (make a live) thou me according to thy word" (Psalms 119:25). Jesus said, "If my words abide (continues) in you. . ." He cannot Quicken us according to His Word -- although He wants to -- unless His words abide in us; unless we walk in the light of the Word. God's D&A abides in His Word. His nature, the eternal life is in His Words ! (1 Peter 1:23). "You have been regenerated (born again), not from a mortal organ (seed, sperm), but from one that is immortal by the ever living and lasting Word of God." The amplified Bible. Every born again believer has God's ability abiding in him or her in the person of Jesus Christ; yet few have ever learned to release that power. God Is in You to the Degree That His Word is in you. God and His word That are one. "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God (John 1:1). The Word was God in the beginning. The word is still God today. God's word is Lord over every circumstance and situation of life. Our minds cannot grasp these truths without the revelation that God and his word or one. (Matthew 10:32). "Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my father which is in heaven." Many people take the Scriptures that are quoted above to say, if you don't confess the name of Jesus then he will not confess you will for the Father which is in heaven. However, Jesus is telling us that if we do not confess the Word before men he will not confess you before the Father which is in heaven. (Luke 12:8-9)." Also I say unto you, whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the Angels of God: but he that deny me before men shall be denied before the angels of God." "And whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of Man, it shall be forgiven him: but unto him that blasphemeth against the Holy Ghost it shall not be forgiven. And when they bring you unto the synagogues, and unto the magistrates, and powers, take ye no thought how or what things you shall answer, or what you shall say: for the Holy Ghost shall teach you in the same hour what you are to say." And the Holy Ghost is only going to say what is written in the Word of God !
