RIGHT AND WRONG CONFESSION: The Bible namely the King James version is the Word of God as well as the amplified version which is the closest thing to the Hebrew and Greek. And they contains God's thoughts. And, of course God's thoughts are different from man thoughts. "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, says the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts" (Isaiah 55:8-9). As We Study God's Word and know His thoughts, we can dare to think God's thoughts after Him as we get our thinking in line with His Word ! This will require renewal of the mind, which is the seat of the soul, will, intellect, and emotions. Studying about confession, we learned that if our confession is wrong, it is because our believing is wrong. If our believing is wrong, it is because our thinking is wrong. And if our thinking is wrong, it is because our mind has not yet been renewed with the Word of God. Sometimes the teachings of the Word of God may not seems reasonable to the natural minded man, but that is because his or her mind has not been renewed by the Word. CONFLICT OF THE SPIRIT WITH THE OLD NATURE: "For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, neither, indeed, can be." (Romans 8:5-6). Verse 8, So, then, they that are in the flesh cannot please God." (Mark 11:22--24) says, " . . . Have faith in God [or the God kind of faith]. For verily I say unto you, that whosoever shall say . . . And shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe . . . Shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, what things soever you desire, when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you shall have them." In The amplified Bible, verse 24 reads, "For this reason I am telling you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe -- trust and be confident -- that it is granted to you, and you will [get it]." The greatest thing that will ever happen to the believer will be when he or she move out into the spiritual realm, from the natural realm. His or her intellect and physical senses will fight him or her every step of the way to keep them from entering that realm, because if the natural mind is not renewed by the Word of God, it wants to hold him or her in the natural realm. But there is a spiritual realm, and this is really the realm of the believer.
