NUMBER 2: BELIEVE YOU RECEIVE ! (Mark 11:24). " For this reason I am telling you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe (trust and be confident) that it is granted to you, and you will [get it]." The amplified Bible. Smith Wigglesworth once said there is something about believing God that will cause Him to pass over a million people to get to you. Faith in God will cause God to move on your behalf. God is a faith God. We are faith children of a faith God. It is written, faith only comes by hearing and by hearing the Word of God (Romans 10:17). He works on the principle of faith. We are saved by faith: "for by grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast" (Ephesians 2:8-9). "For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, according as God has dealt to every man the measure of faith." The King James Bible. "For by grace [unmerited favor of God] given to me I want everyone among you not to estimate and think of himself more highly than he ought [not to have an exaggerated opinion of his own importance], but to rate his ability with sober judgment, each according to the degree of faith approved by God to him." The amplified Bible. We walk by faith, not by sight. It is the prayer of faith God listens to. "But what does it say ? The Word God's message in Christ) is near you, on your lips and in your heart; that is, The Word (the message, the basis an object of faith which we preach," The amplified Bible. The King James Bible says, "But what saith it ? The Word is near thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart; that is, The Word of faith, which we preach: Notice that the Bible is called The Word of faith. It is also called the law of faith. "Where is boasting then ? It is excluded. By what law ? Of works ? No, but by the law of faith." He said you can have the desires of your heart if you believe you received them. You have to believe first, however. Most people want to receive and then they will believe. But it is the other way around: The believing part comes first. I am convinced that if people will quit praying repeatedly about some of the things they pray about and begin thanking God for the answer, the answer would come right away. But they keep on praying in unbelief. If a person asked for the same thing again, he or she doesn't believe they have received it the first time they ask. If they believe they had received it, they would be thanking God for it, and it would be manifested. Listen to the people start praying the Scriptures, the book of Psalms, the book of Proverbs, even some of the books of the New testament. There are other books in the Bible that are full of prayer. The faith Jesus was talking about in (Mark 11) is heart faith -- a supernatural faith -- not head faith. We get used to walking by head faith. But we are to believe in our heart that we receive what we are praying for, even though we do not see the answer with our physical eyes.
