HOW TO WRITE YOUR OWN TICKET WITH GOD: If you are finding yourself at the bottom of life's ladder, it is because that is all you have believe for. When we talk about believing right, we are clamoring to the top ! "For what saith the Scriptures ? Abraham believed God, and it was counted on to him for righteousness. Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace but of debt. But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justified the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness." (Romans 4:3-4-5). "Therefore, it is of faith, that it might be by grace, to the in the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only with years of the law, but to that also which is of faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all. As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations, before him whom he believed, even God, who giveth life to the dead, and call it those things which are not, as though they were;" (Romans 4:16-17). The four steps to faith outlined it in this lesson are so simple, they almost seems foolish. But in Jesus ministry on earth, He talked in terms that even the uneducated could understand. He talked about buying vineyards and orchards, sheepfolds and shepherds. He illustrated spiritual truths in such a simple way that the common people could understand them. His message was clear and concise, never complicated. (Mark 5:25-34). "And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood 12 years, and has suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing better, but rather grew worse, when she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touch his garment. For she said, if I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole. And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague. And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, who touched my clothes ? And his disciple said on the him, thou seest the multitude thronging thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me ? And he looked around about to see her that had done this thing. But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before him, and told him all the truth. And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith has made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of life plague." STEP (1): SAY IT ! What is the first things this woman did ? Verse 28 says, "For she said, if I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole." Someone had told this woman about Jesus. She knew He was healing people. Having this information, what was her first step in receiving healing ? The first thing she did was to say. And then she acted on what she said ! There is a God-ward side and a man-ward side to every battle in this life, every victory, and everything else we receive from God. We have our part to play. There is something we must do. God will not fail. If there is any failure, it is on our part. However, if we do our part, we can be sure there will be an answer and a victory.
