CONFESSION OF THE GOD KIND OF FAITH DISPELS FEAR: (Isaiah 41:10). "Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yes, I will help thee; yes, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness." Have you ever noticed, in reading the Bible, how many times God told his children "fear not" ? I remember the time when I pray the prayer that Moses prayed to see God's glory, and he instructed me to go on a three day fast. On the third day, about 3:15 AM in the morning, I sensed someone standing over me. Fear gripped me so that I could not move. The angel said I am the servant of the most high God "fear not" for God has honored your prayer and your request behold the glory of God." Brothers and sister, when you talk about pure white robes ! The collar was gold, the end of the sleeves were gold and the bottom of the robe was gold. I noticed that his lips was not moving as he talked to me none of the less I did hear every word he said ! When Jairus sought Jesus to heal his daughter, the Lord said to him, "Fear Not: believe only, and she shall be made whole" (Luke 8:49-50). What was it that Jairus was to believe ? He was to believe the very words that he spoke: (Mark 5:21-- 43) verse 22 "And behold there cometh one of the rulings of the synagogue, Jairus by name; and when he saw him, he fell at his feet, and besought him greatly, saying, my little daughter life at the point of death. "I pray thee, come and lay thy heads on her, that she may be healed; and she shall live." This is what Jesus told him to believe only ! When Jesus was preaching to His disciples, He said, "Fear Not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom" (Luke 12:33). When the Lord appeared to Isaac in the Old Testament, renewing the covenant He had made with his father Abraham, the Lord said, "Fear Not, for I am with thee, and will bless thee. . ." (Genesis 26:24). If God had just said, "don't be afraid," and had left us there, we might say, "But I can't help being afraid." But not only did He say "fear not"; he also said, "I am with thee." Can we really believe He is with us and still be afraid ? No, if we are afraid, it is because we are doubting Him. "But," someone might say, "I am so." God said, "I will strengthen thee." "But I am so helpless," someone else might say. God said, "I will uphold thee." Understand real faith in God is only going to say what God said ! (Some 119:28- 130) "My soul melteth for heaviness: strengthen thou me according unto thy Word. . . The interests of thy word giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple." It is true that in our sales we made an helpless, burdened down with cares and problems. But in our weakness we look to His Word for strength, for "the entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple." Our confession can be, "God is with me." We can say, "greater is he that is in me than he that is in the world" (1 John 4:4) and "if God be for me, who can be against me ?" (Romans 8:31). You may be facing some problems that seems impossible. Instead of talking about how impossible it is, look to Him through His Word who is inside you and say, "God is in me now." You'll find your confession of the God kind of faith will cause Him to work in your behalf. He will rise up in you and give you success. The master of creation is in you ! Forget what religion has taught you, open your Bible like you never have read it before. You can face life fearlessly because you know that greater is He who is in you than any force that may be arrayed against you. This should be your continual confession.
