TRINGING THE HUMAN HEART WHICH IS THE HUMAN SPIRIT: a bout eight years ago the Lord was dealing with me about the power of words and the authority they have over the body of one morning while studying I start having a headache it was just pounding. I seldom have a headache, and my first thought was, I wonder what I am taking. Then I said, "Wait a minute ! I refuse to have it." I decided I would ask on what the Lord had been showing me about the apostle Paul bringing his body into subjection. So I just slap myself on the head with the palm of my hand and said, "Head, you sound that is the name of Jesus. You come into line with the Word of God." Within two minutes, the headache was gone. Now with other things, it has taken a longer period of time for the manifestation to come. But I learned to hold fast to the confession of the Word of God, which is the confession of faith. Then several years ago, I had pain in my stomach. I receive my healing by confessing God's word over a period of about three months those symptoms try to come back from time to time, but I learned to resist them instead of receiving them. I would slap my body with my hand and say out loud, stop that in the name of Jesus. Body, you come into agreement with the Word of God. I am healed by the stripes of Jesus. Someone said, "Why, that's silly." Well, it wasn't their body that was hurting. It was mine, and it worked ! Many people do their dog or cat that way. The slap them and say, "stop that," or "Get out of the house." They think nothing of it. But if you slap your body and tell it what to do, they think you are strange or crazy. If your dog or cat understand that language, you know that your body must be more intelligent than a dumb animal. When it comes to the things of God you have to be consistent in the practice of the Word of God. Words are powerful when you learn to use them in the right perspective remember (Proverbs 18:20- 21). "A man's belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth, and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled. Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof."
