THE UNJUST JUDGE ! There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man. As we have noted, he would qualify for the devil. It certainly could not be God. The unjust judge is representative of the evil one, or Satan. The widow represented the individual believer. Jesus is showing us the power of speaking boldly the word of God continually ! Within ourselves and out loud. We are insignificant. Without Christ Jesus , "Dwell in Me, and I will dwell in you [Live in Me, and I will live in you] just as no branch can't bear fruit of itself without abiding in (being virtually united to) the mind, neither can you bear fruit unless you abide in Me. I Am the Vine; you are the branches. Whoever lives in me and I in him bears much (abundant) fruit. However, apart from Me [cut off from virtual union with Me] you can do nothing. If a person does not dwell in Me, he is thrown out like a [broken off] branch, and withers; such branches are gathered up and thrown into the fire, and they are burned. If you live in Me [abide virtually united to Me] and My Words remain in you and continue to live in your hearts, ask what ever you will, and it shall be done for you." (John 15:4 through 7). The amplified Bible. We can do nothing; but, praise God, we are not without Him ! Jesus said, hear what the unjust judge saith. Now when Jesus says here something, he That means to pay special attention to it. Hear what Satan will say when a believer comes to him and demands boldly, "avenge me of my adversary." As believers today we would say, "I demand my rights in Jesus name." And then you would tell the enemy the portion of Scripture that you are standing on. This little widow was coming in the authority of her faith. She was representative of believers who dare to walk by faith and not by sight. The unjust judge is representative of Satan who is subject to the authority of faith filled words. When the Son of Man returns, Will He find this kind of faith on the earth--- that a believer would dare to stand before the unjust one and tell him what to do ? This not only portrays the individual believer using his or her authority, but also the Church who are the believer using the Name of Jesus. (Isaiah 54:4-5) says "she shalt not remember the reproach of the widowhood anymore. For thy maker is thine husband; the Lord of hosts is his name."
