SPIRIT-RULED BODY OR BODY RULED SPIRIT:

SPIRIT-RULED BODY OR BODY RULED SPIRIT: The Greek word translated physical body means "salve" the physical body should be a slave to the human spirit. Not the human spirit slave to the body ! Sin caused the human spirit to lose control over the body because Adam and Eve became spiritually dead people the day they sinned. They became body ruled, not spirit ruled; and they gained a sensual knowledge that cause their body to rebel against their spirit. The spirit man was dethroned that very hour; the human spirit lost its authority and ability to rule the body. The Sin nature Satan took control of the flesh. The body rose up and begin to rule over the spirit. We can now understand why Paul said in (Romans 8:6) "For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace." Many deer people who say they are saved and Jesus is Lord: do not have life and peace, because of the carnality of their minds ! To be, minded is to be body ruled, this is the reason why so many have so many bad habits, because to be, minded is to be body ruled and it produces spiritual death. To be spiritually minded is to be spirit ruled, and it produces life and peace, for God designed you that way. If you continue to sow to the flesh you will also reap from the flesh, if you were so towards the spirit you shall reap from the spirit. The law of sowing and reaping is still in effect as long as the earth remain. "For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death" (Romans 8:2) God's law that produces spirit life in Christ made your spirit free from the spiritual death caused by sin the moment you gave your life to Jesus Christ. However, if you're not renewing your mind with the Word of God: then the carnal nature is still in motion. "For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: that the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the spirit" (Romans 8:3-4). "It is the Spirit who gives life [He is the life giver] the flesh conveys no benefit whatever [there is no profit in it]. The words (truths) that I have been speaking to you are spirit and life." (John 6:63) the amplified Bible.
