GOD'S WORD IS THE ANSWER ! : I could sum it up by saying that prayer is not telling God the problem. "Whatever you desire is what you should pray if it's in line with the Word of God, not the problems. Turn loose of the problem. Down through the decades people have been taught to pray the problems ! Take hold of the answer and make it your prayer and your confession of faith. As an example, let's say you have a financial need. You will pray, Father, in the name of Jesus, your word says that you will supply all my needs according to your riches in glory by Christ Jesus. I have given according to (Luke 6:38). Your word says that whatsoever things I desire when I pray to believe that I receive them (Mark 11:24). Therefore, I believe that my needs are supplied according to your riches in glory by Christ Jesus. I have given; therefore, it is given to me---good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over. I have abundance and there is no lack. I sow bountifully; therefore, I read bountifully. Father, you make all grace abound toward me and I, having all sufficiency in all things, do abound to every good work. For the Lord is my shepherd and I do not want. The word of God is your answer. Pray The Word----it works ! How do I know that; because I am practicing what I am teaching. God said to me many years ago "The husbandman (farmer) must be first partaker of the fruits. Consider what I say; and the Lord give thee understanding in all things." (2 Timothy 2:6-7) King James Bible. In the amplified version of the same text it reads "it is the hard-working farmer who labors to produce who must be the first partaker of the fruits. Thank over these things I am saying understand them and grass their application, for the Lord will grant you full insight and understanding in everything." I have no theological degrees nor do I have any seminary training. When I first got say the 1980: it was around 84 when those words were spoken to me. That is when my journey began in searching the Scriptures. I had all kind of religious thinking that I had heard and what you would call church. But none of it lined it up with the Word of God. So I had to forget what I thought I knew and begin the process of renewing my mind and in the process of time of considering what He said, understanding is given unto me in all things !
