DEVELOPMENT OF THE LAW OF FAITH ! I am talking about a law, not a formal. Confessing God's word is a principal, a law that must be developed. It is not just a formula. It is not going to work just because you say it. But saying it is involved in working. (Mark 11:22--23). "And Jesus, replying, said to them, have faith in God [continuously]. Truly I tell you, whoever says to this mountain, Be lifted up and thrown into the sea ! And does not doubt at all in his heart but believes that what he says will take place, it will be done for him." The amplified Bible. It's a process. It takes time. It takes weeks. Sometimes it takes months. It must become a way of life to you. Quite frankly, the first stages of confessing the Word has very little effect on the problem areas. It will affect them only when you believe it. But speaking it is involved in causing faith to come. But it's not just a mechanical formula. It's a matter of being in obedience to God's Word. You're not going to go very far if you do not do the sayings of Jesus ! (Luke 6:46 through 49) don't do like some people have done. They said, "Well, I'm a faith person, I'm going to confess the Word of God. I'm going to quit my job and live by faith." If you cannot live on your job by faith, you may starve ! No don't quit your job. Use your faith on your job. Don't throw all good business sense aside. But take the word of God and build it into your spirit until you know that you know that you know God's Word is true in you. When you are that sure, you will have a manifestation of it. (1 John 5:14-15). "And this is the confidence [the assurance, the privilege of boldness] court which we have in Him: [we are sure] that if we ask anything [make any request] according to His will [Word] in agreement with His own plan] He Listens to and hear us. And if [since] we [positively] know that He listens to us in whatever we ask, we also know [with settled and absolute knowledge] that we have [granted us as our present possessions] the request made of Him." The amplified Bible. The more highly developed you get in the fear are faith, the quicker the manifestation will come. Some are highly developed in fear. Some are highly developed in faith, remember these two things. Fear comes by hearing the words of the devil and the world. Faith in God, by hearing God's Word. It is hard to improve on what God told Joshua: remember all they had at that time was the book of the law of Moses. "This bowl that book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that time is observed to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shall have good success." (Joshua 1:8). Now the Lord says that every believer should be doing this with the New Testament promises. Meditating day and night to observe to do them, and you will make your way prosperous, and have good success !
