DEATH AND LIFE ARE IN THE POWER OF THE TONGUE ! You've heard people say, What you don't know won't hurt." But the real truth is what you don't know is what is killing you ! Your Americanize religion is not going to tell you the truth. (Proverbs) says: "Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. " (Proverbs 18:21). "And they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof." In other words there is a harvest of the seeds that you are sowing what it be Death or Life. The writer says they shall eat the fruit thereof. We are talking about how to get our spoken words in line with the Word of God. You may feel as though because you attend someplace called church that you are saved. Yes, you may have confess Jesus Christ as Lord: and based upon the Bible the confession of the Lordship of Jesus Christ and you believing what you said saves you. Please understand, your soul; did not get born again ! In fact in (Romans 12:1- 2). The apostle Paul finds a group of believers and he tells them, "I appeal to you therefore, brethren, and beg of you in view of [all] the mercies of God, to make a decisive dedication of your bodies [presenting all your members and faculties] as a living sacrifice, holy [devoted, consecrated] and well pleasing to God which is your reasonable [rational, intelligent] service and spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world [this age], [fashioned after and adapting to its external, superficial customs], but be transformed [changed] by the [entire] renewal of your mind [by its new ideals and its new attitude], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the things which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His sight for you]." The amplified Bible. God's Word conceived in the heart, then formed with the tongue and spoken out of the mouth becomes a spiritual force releasing the ability of God. These are words that you conceived in the human spirit and not in your head. Then you form them with the tongue. Have you ever noticed that your words or syllables are separated by the tongue when you speak ? The Word of God conceived in the human spirit, then formed with the tongue and spoken out of the mouth releases the ability of God. Let's put it this way --- it should do that. This is how God intended for you and me to conceive His Word. You can also conceive and speak other words. I have also said in lessons past that the devil has stolen our vocabulary. For instance, if it's the devil you are quoting, you are releasing the ability of the devil. It's just that simple. Many people have failed to understand why there is so much teaching on confession. Some criticize us because of our confession and teaching on the power of God's Word in the mouth. Actually, what we are doing is simple Bible truth. We are simply showing you how to operate in the principles of God's Word. Please read, Matthew 12:33-- through 37).
