WORD BECAME FLESH # 2 ! One translation says "The Word took upon itself flesh." It was the seed the woman conceived and received from God. It was conceived in Mary's heart (spirit), and it manifested itself in her physical body. Now, you and I must get the Word of God off the pages of the Bible; and get the incorruptible seed Of God's Word abiding in us. No church program or tradition of men will allow you to do this. I believe that any believer who will conceive and receive the word of God concerning any promise in the New Testament (any promise that is for today), if they conceive it in their heart, it will manifest itself. In fact Jesus said it this way: "if you abide in me, and my words abide in you, you shall ask what you will, and it shall be done unto you. In this is my Father glorify, that you bear much fruit; so shall you be my disciples." (John 15:7-8). This again is where we are totally dependent upon God to bring it to pass in our life . Let me show you something that Abraham did in this: in Romans 4: 17-21). "(As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations), before him who he believed, even God, who giveth life to the dead, and called those things which are not, as though they were; who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, so shall thy seed be. And being not weak in faith, he considered not his on body now dead, when he was about 100 years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah's womb. In other words, there was nothing going on in the bedroom to produce the child; so he had to totally depend upon God to fulfill the promise. Verse 20, He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strong in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully persuaded that, what he (God) had promised, he was able also to perform." In other words; Abraham was giving glory to God because he was dependent on God to fulfill the promise there was no self effort it was totally dependency upon God that is what giving glory to God. Now, many people say they believe God they quote the Scriptures, but when they don't see anything working through their self efforts they get mad at the pastor mad at God and leave what is called church and go back and live in sin. Because they were not fully persuaded of what God has said. Notice in Mary's case, it didn't happen overnight to Mary nor did it happen overnight to Abraham; so what makes you think its going to happen to you overnight as if you have God on some type of timeclock. No, there is a season for these things to take place in our life. It was a process. There was a time span involved. This is a process. Confessing God's Word is a process. It's a way of life. It is not a religion, it is a relationship building process. It takes time to build faith in God. Some start too late --- when it's a life or death situation. If doctors can help you, don't be condemned over going to a doctor. God wants you alive and well. If medical care can help you, get some medicine. Get well. Get in the Word and stop the next attack with God's Word and your faith coming out of your mouth. Here is the point I want to make. Confessing the Word of God is a process of building your relationship with God and building it into your spirit. You should do it continually. Then over a period of time it will manifest itself.
