WHATSOEVER ! Now for another witness let's go to (Mark 11:23-24). Here Jesus is teaching the greatest faith principle the world has ever known. It will absolutely transform your life if you would believe it. "Whosoever shall say unto this mountain (the sicknesses that you are experiencing in your life and body) you will cease in your maneuvers and activities in my body and in my life in Jesus name. "Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith". He didn't say he would have what he believe God for. He didn't say he would have what he hoped for. He said he would have whatsoever he saith ! Then He connected that verse of Scripture to the next one by saying it will also work in prayer. Verse 23, is not a prayer Scripture. It is the faith principle. It is spiritual law. Just as the law of gravity will work, so will this law work when it is applied correctly. When Jesus came to the earth some 6000 years ago, he did not come preaching The Gospel of salvation ! He came preaching the Gospel of the kingdom of God. (Luke 4:40 through 43 ). "Now when the sun was setting, all they that had any who were sick with [various] diseases, brought them unto him; and he laid his hands on every one of them, and healed them. And [demons] also came out of many, crying out, and saying, Thou art Christ, the Son of God. And he, rebuking them, did not allow them to speak; for they knew that he was Christ. And when it was day, he departed and went into a desert place; and the people sought him, and came unto him, and would have restrained him, that he should not depart from them. And he said unto them, I must preach the kingdom of God to other cities also; for therefore I am sent." Now I took a little side journey; But verse 24, is the prayer Scripture. Therefore it will work in prayer. "Therefore I say unto you, What things so ever you Desire. . . Notice the words you desire. It doesn't say what God desires, does it ? No. Now let's put it in our language. He said, "whatever you desire when you pray, you believe, when do you believe ? When you are praying that you receive, and you shall have it." Someone has said, "Oh, but if it's not God's will, you can't have it. So go ahead and print; and if it's God's will, you will receive. If it isn't, you won't receive it anyway. That is not at all what the Bible teaches; yet that kind of teaching has been handed down from generation to generation and it has helped people in bondage. The Bible says you will receive when you pray believe. People are deceived in this area. Israel wanted a king. It wasn't God's will for them to have one, but they received a king. Not realizing they had the King of kings. That is why it is so very important that you learn God's will before you pray. It would be better for you to spend a week reading and searching the word of God before you ever form your prayer, than to just pray and assume it is God's will. God's Word is His Will for our lives, the New Testament is the last will and Testament of Jesus Christ !
