THE WIDOW AND THE JUDGE ! What about the woman who went to the unjust judge ? She just kept going back and persisting human to finally he gave me in. Isn't that what Jesus wants us to do ? The answer is a resounding No ! And many dear people have that religious idea. In (Mark 4:24), Jesus said, "If any man have ears to hear, let him hear. And he said unto them, Take heed what you hear: with what measure you measure, it shall be measured to you; and unto you that hear shall more be given." The King James Bible. The same verse of Scripture in the amplified Bible says, "And He said to them, Be careful what you are hearing. The measure [of thought and study] you give [two the truth you hear] will be the measure [of virtue and knowledge] that comes back to you-- and more [besides] will be given to you who hear." When you hear something explained a certain way and you accepted, then each time you read it, here it, or think about it, you will receive it the same way. The spirit of God spoke to me and said, "Study the word of God like you have never heard it before. And forget all the religious ideas that you have learned in what is called church. In other words, turn off your religious head when you study the Bible. Sometimes you must turn it all to receive the truth. For instance, when you first look at the parable of the unjust judge, which this lady was referring to, is easy to think that the will just pestering the judge until he gave in to her request. Some translations indicate this, but we must realize that some areas of this translation are the results of men trying to logically reason out a meaning. It is their opinion, so they included it. If this parable means what it seems to say on the surface, then Jesus was speaking contrary to what He taught in (Matthew 6:7): "when you pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do." It doesn't take praying all night and all day to get an audience with God. Accurate prayer based upon what God has said concerning any subject with absolutely move heaven and earth on your behalf. It is the prayer of faith that God responds to: and if it wasn't any faith in the Word of God, then you and I could not develop the God kind of faith ! Faith in God as the apostle Paul said, comes by hearing and by hearing the Word of God. Hearing is in a continual sense, some people wait to Sunday to going here a word.
