THE RIGHTEOUSNESS WHICH IS OF FAITH PRINCIPLE ! I'm glad some people I know didn't live in Abraham's day. They would have done their best to talk him or you even me out of believing God's promise. They would have said, "You just ate too much chili. You didn't really hear from God. You're just an old man. It was just a dream." But God knows how the God kind of faith principle works. He planned it so that Abram would have to say, "I am the father of nations." Every time he said his name, He Heard the Word of God. That Was God's Word to him. As he heard the Word of God for him, faith came. For faith cometh by hearing. Faith came many years before the manifestation came. This is something I want to stress. Don't expect to become highly developed in the God kind of faith overnight. It just doesn't happen that fast. It takes time. There is a process of learning and applying the principles of God. I'm giving you a word of caution here. People get into trouble when they think they can go to a seminar and come home a three day wonder. But they do make you wonder, "What happened to them ? You wonder if their mind went out for lunch and didn't return. They go back into their place they called church and do all kinds of crazy things, calling it faith. Then the pastor has to pick up the pieces because they didn't get in on all the teaching. Abraham did not deny the fact by saying, "I'm not old." He called it the way God called it, in other words; Abraham said what God said ! And he overcame the facts. You will notice it was 25 years from the time God made the promise to Abraham until he came to pass. Many of you treat God like He's a genie in a lamp, or maybe you say some magic words in God's will automatically perform them. No, it doesn't work that way. We make a mistake when we think everything is going to happen in a few days. God on the other hand is highly developed in the God kind of faith, He spoke and it happened, because He believe what he said will happen. Growing in the God kind of faith is a process, because we are finite; let me say it another way: because we are wrapped in this old flesh and have gotten used to the ways of the world. Today you are the sum total of the things you have practiced in days past. You can change that, but you can't do it overnight. It will take time to do it. You must learn how to operate in the God kind of faith and the kingdom principles. You can overload your faith, you must learn to recognize the level to which your faith is developed; then operate on that level until you develop to a higher level of the God kind of faith. Practice God's principles to set them in motion. Put them to work in your life. It doesn't work just by trying, it works for the doers of God's Word. For the promises of God's Word are as near to you as getting them in your mouth. Dare to speak His Word of promise over your life. Dare to cause the God kind of faith to come by hearing your voice declare God's Word after Him. For this is the righteousness which is of faith.
