THE MYSTERY OF FAITH ! So there is no validity to the fear that some will take the faith message, and use it to bankrupt God. Give God credit for being smarter than that. The mystery of faith is in a pure conscience ! The instant you walk away from a pure conscience, then your faith will begin to fade away. There are so many voices in this world, and all of them have significance. Many of them are designed to keep you from the message of faith; there is the faith of God and the faith of the world system. Condemnation will devour your God kind of faith eventually, and the worldly type of faith will never change anything in your life. Only the Bible kind of faith which is the God kind of faith will move your mounting if you would only take God's Word and speak to your problems and your situations. You must have a pure conscience before God. Jesus said, . . . When you stand praying, forgive. . .(Mark 11:25). That is just as much a part of this faith message as (Mark 11:23). You must forgive people. You must walk in love. You must obey the principles of the Bible. You must be obedient to God's Word. There is more to it than just saying a few Scriptures. This is living the Bible, and being a doer of the Word of God. And this is not just a Sunday or a Wednesday thing ! Jesus said, you live by every Word of God. Whether you feel like it are not; it is a lifestyle not a religion. God says the way to reap a harvest is to plant. How could it be wrong for us to plant and expect to reap a harvest ? (1 Timothy 3:9). "They must possess the mystic secret of the faith [Christian truth as hidden from ungodly men] with a clear conscience." The amplified Bible. The King James Bible: "Holding the mystery of the faith in a pure conscience." It is unscriptural to give, whether it be money, or it be your time, or anything even food and not expect to receive. You can choose to give that way. You can't give and say, "Well now, Lord, I don't expect anything in return. I'm just trying to be humble." Now, be honest. You aren't being humble. You are trying to impress God. You are trying to convince Him that you are so humble that He should bless you much more. You might as well admit it. That's what we have all tried to do in the past. That is what religion has taught us. Don't try to con God ! Be honest with God, and just obey His written Word, and say, "Now, Lord, you said if I give, it shall be given unto me, good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over shall men give unto my bosom. And because of Your Word I believe and confess I receive all you promised."
