THE MYSTERY OF FAITH ! "But without faith it is impossible to please him; for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him." So there is no validity to the fear that some will take the faith message, and use it to bankrupt God. Give God credit for being smarter than that. The ministry of faith is in a pure conscience. The instant you walk away from a pure conscience, then your faith will begin to fade away, the ability to believe what you say that God has said will eventually fade away. Then you will start walking by sight and not by faith. Condemnation will devour your faith eventually. You must have a pure conscience before God. Jesus said, . . . When you stand praying, forgive. . .(Mark 11:25). That is just as much a part of this faith message as (Mark 11:23). You must forgive people. You must walk in love. You must obey the principles of the Bible. You Must Be Obedient to God's Word. There is more to it than just saying a few scriptures. The apostle Paul says by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, in (Romans 10:8), "But what saith it ? The Word is near thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart; that is, the word of faith, which we preach:" in other words the Word of God is supposed to be in your mouth and then he gets in your heart in abundance. This is living the Bible, and being a doer of the Word of God. Jesus said you live by every Word of God. Not just the part that you want to live. God says the way to reap a harvest is to plant. How could it be wrong for us to plan and expect to reap a harvest ? It is unscriptural to give and not expect to receive. You can choose to give that way. You can't give and say, "Well now, Lord, I don't expect anything in return. I'm just trying to be humble." Now, be honest. Your aren't being humble. You are trying to impress God. You are trying to convince Him that you are sold humble that He should bless you much more. You might as well admit it. That's what we have all tried to do in the past. Don't try to con God. Be honest with God, and just obey His Word, and say, "Now, Lord, you said if I give, it shall be given unto me, good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over shall men give into my bosom. And because of Your Word I believe and confess I received all You promised."
