THE HEART WILL PRODUCES WHATEVER YOU PLANT IN IT ! Suppose someone turns the thermostat to 70° and then. In a little while, they turned it to 95. Then they turn it to 60. It will not work properly that way. It will probably blow a few. It is not designed to be flipped from one extreme to the other all at once. It will blow a circuit. (James 1:2 through 8). "My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing this, that the testing of your faith worketh patience. If you are speaking the promises of the word of God over your situation, it will be tested by the devil to see if you really believe what you say ! But let patience have her perfect work, that you may be perfect and entire, lacking nothing, if any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, who giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth, and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering, for he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive anything of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways." Someone might say, "Who would be dumb enough to do that ? Those who say they are Christians do that all the time. They start making faith confession: "glory to God, my needs are met according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus." They say that for a few days, then they look at circumstances and situations in their life and say, "Dear God, it's never going to happen. We will never get these debts paid. I will never get healed. I don't know what we are going to do." Well, they just changed the thermostat. You have to set it where you want it and leave it there. That unit will work day and night to produce what you have dialed into it. It will never argue with you, but your head will fight you all over it. Faith in God does not work in your head. Faith in God only works in the heart of man. (Mark 4:26) tells you and me the way it works. It is as if a man can see into the ground. That is setting the goal. A seed to a former is a goal setter. If you want to know what goal you have set for your garden, just look and see what see you have planted. You plant the seed, and it works. You go to bed and get up. And you don't have to hope to God that it will work. It will work because it is designed that way, and because it is God's divine law of faith. The substance is in the seed itself. Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Let's say it another way. Faith gives substance of everything needed to accomplish the goal of hope for. Your goals for your heart are set by speaking those things in faith. Whether the unit feels like it or not, when that thermostat's impulse goes to the spirit of man ( heart) it releases the energy that is available, and it immediately starts producing the thinng dialed into it.
