THE GOD KIND OF FAITH IN THE HEART ! Notice in (Romans 8:7), "the carnal mind is enmity against God and not subject to the law of God; neither indeed can it be. Our carnal mind cannot operate in God's law of faith. Let me say it another way, our lower nature can't operate in God's law of faith. People have been trying to operate in it for years and failed. God's kind of faith works only in the spirit (heart) of man. In (Romans 10:10). "For with the heart [the center part of man which is his heart or the spirit]. "A person believes [adheres to, trust in, and relies on Christ] and so is justified [declared righteous, acceptable to God, and with the mouth he confesses [declares openly and speaks out freely his faith] and confirms [his] salvation." The amplified Bible. People need to understand that faith is a spiritual force. It only works in the heart of man. It doesn't work in the head. Mental assent works in the head. Some mistake it for faith. But mental assent is not faith ! Mental assent working in the head says, "Yes, that's in the Bible." But they really don't believe it. If it's only in the head, you don't really believe it. Mental assent says, "Yes, it's true, because it's the Bible." But is it true in your personal life ? Maybe I need to say this another way; is the truth that you say you believe manifested in your life ? "Well, no, it really isn't true in me." Then it's not yet in your spirit (heart). If you have the faith of God in you, it will produce the reality of that thing. But it has to be in the spirit (heart). Now, Let's Rightly Divide the Word Again ! Verse 10: of (1 Corinthians 2:). "Yet to us God has unveiled and reveal them by and through His Spirit. For the [Holy] Spirit searches diligently, this should have been written that the spirit of man searches diligently, exploring and examining everything, even sounding the profound and bottomless things of God [the divine counsels and things hidden and beyond man's scrutiny. "For what person perceives [knows and understands] what passes through a man's thoughts except the man on spirit within him ? Just so you know one discerns [comes to know and comprehend] the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. Now we have not received the spirit [that belongs to] the world, but the [Holy] Spirit who is from God. [Given to us] that we might realize and comprehend and appreciate the gifts [of divine favor and blessing so freely and lavishly] bestowed on us by God." The amplified Bible.
