THE CANDLE OF THE LORD !

THE CANDLE OF THE LORD ! "The spirit of man is the candle of the Lord, searching all the inward parts of the belly." The King James Bible. Now the amplified Bible says, "The spirit of man [that factor in human personality which proceeds immediately from God] is the Lamb of the Lord, searching all his innermost parts." (Proverbs 20:27). " For what person perceives (knows and understands) what passes through a man's thoughts except the man's own spirit within him ? Just so no one discerns (comes to know and comprehend) the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God." (1 Corinthians 2:11). The human spirit is the light bulb that God uses to "enlighten" you and me. While your body is a sleep, your spirit remains in contact with God. It continually searches the avenues of God's wisdom to find a way to cause this promise (the seed of the incorruptible Word that you have planted to come up in your life. Something that God is just going to drop money down God of heaven on them. But that is not God's method. God's method is if you sow your financial seed which is a gift to God's work in the earth; He promised, that if you would "Give, and it shall be given unto you, good measures, pressed down, and shaken together, running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that you measure it shall be measured to you again." (Luke 6:38). That is the law of seed time and harvest ! God may bring some business opportunities your way, or perhaps calls someone to give to you. But don't always look for it to come the same way. Don't just look for checks to come in the mail. God may choose many methods that are in agreement with His Word to bring those promises into reality in your life. It might be a business deal. It might be a land investment. It could be almost anything including things you never expected to happen. God will honor His promises. But it doesn't always happen the way we thought it would. While your body is a sleep, that soil is working. It is searching the avenues of God's wisdom. I'm talking to the born-again believer those who have a personal relationship with God. "For what person perceives (knows and understands) what passes through a man's thoughts except the man's own spirit within him ? Just so no one discerns (comes to know and comprehend) the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God." (1 Corinthians 2:11). The amplified Bible. The "spirit of man" is the human spirit. This is the human spirit which is "the candle or light bulb of the Lord, searching all the inward parts of the belly." The "belly" refers to your innermost being, or where the spirit is; where the kingdom of God resides.
