THE BRON-AGAN BELIEVER IS REDEEDED FROM UNDER THE LAW ! "But before faith came, we were Under the law, shut up onto the faith which should afterwards be revealed wherefore, the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith." (Galatians 3:23-24). "Schoolmaster" is translated from the Greek. paidagogos, meaning child-discipliner or child-leader. In the Greek and Roman world the pedagogue was the custodian or guardian in the education and a life of minor children. The argument does not turn upon the intent or nature of the pedagogue's authority, but upon the fact that it wholly ceased when the "child" (4:1) became a son (4: 1-6), when the minor became an adult. The adult "son" does voluntarily that which formerly he did in fear of the guardian, but even if he does not, it is no longer a question be between the sun and the guardian (the law), but between the son and God, his Father. Notice, verse 23, "But before faith came, we were kept Under the law, shut up until the faith which should afterwards be revealed. Jesus Christ, Christ is not his last name; it means the anointed or the anointed one. Should be revealed. Verse 24 "Wherefore, the law was our schoolmaster supplied words to bring us better, that we might be justified by faith. Jesus who is the Messiah, John said in the beginning, was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God ! Verse 25, him "But after faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster." The question is, How does faith in God comes: the answer is found in (Romans 10:16-17). "But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah said, Lord, who has believed our report ? So, then, faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God." It did not say it comes by having heard, in other words people will tell you I've heard that before ! No it doesn't come by having heard; it comes by hearing and by hearing The Word of God. In other words, hearing is in the perpetual sense or continual sense. It did not say that faith comes by reading The Word of God. The Scripture says faith comes by hearing and by hearing The Word of God. The more you hear God's Word faith will come ! The opposite end of this is also true: the more you hear the words of the devil, fear will come. So who's report will you believe ! (Galatians 4:1-1). "Now I said that the heir, as long as he is a child, different nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all, but is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father. Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world. But, when the fullness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son made of a woman, made under the law, to redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons."
