SPIRITUAL HEART ATTACKS ! Many people are operating in strife and unforgiveness, and are wondering why their faith what work. Their heart condemns them. They have had a spiritual heart attack ! They can't operate in faith from their heart because their heart condemns them, so they try to operate the God kind of faith from a religious standpoint from their head. But their hearts condemns the because they are not obedient to the whole Word of God. There are some people who are living in known sin and wonder why their prayer are not answerd. "For if our hearts condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things. Beloved, if our hearts condemns was not, then have we confidence toward God. And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight." (1 John 3:20-22). King James Bible. Now when people, talking about the believers see the word commandments in the Bible; they automatically think of the 319 Mosaic Law. Why ? Because this is what they have been taught from a religious standpoint. Preachers from their altar mix grace and law; when the Bible specifically tells us that we are not under the law but under grace. Now, let's look at the same scripture from the amplified Bible. "Whenever our hearts in [tormenting] self-accusation makes us feel guilty and condemns us. [For we are in God's hands] For He is above and greater an hour consciences (our hearts), and He knows (perceives and understand) everything [nothing is hidden from Him]. And, beloved, if our consciences (our hearts) do not accuse us [if they do not make us feel guilty and condemn us], we have confidence (complete assurance and boldness) before God, and we receive from Him what ever we ask, because we [watchfully obey His orders [observe His suggestions and injunctions, follow His plan for us] and [habitually] practice what is pleasing to Him. And this is His orders (His command, his injunctions): that we should believe in (put our faith and trust in and adhere to and rely on ) the name of His Son Jesus Christ (the Messiah ), and that we should love one another, just as He has commanded us. All who keep his commandments [Who Obey His orders and follow His plan, live and continue to live, to stay and ] abide in Him, and He in them [they let Christ be a home to them and they are the home of Christ.] And by this we know and understand and have the proof That He [really] lives and make His home in us: by the Holy Spirit whom He has given us." (1 John 3:20-24). The amplified Bible. There are those who would like to live by certain scriptures and forget the rest of the Bible. But we must live by every Word of God. Some people do crazy things and call it faith. I heard of a woman who came to a certain minister and said, you must agree with me -- you just have to agree with me --- that this man will marry me." The minister said, "wait a minute. Tell me more about this first." She said, "But you have two agree with me. The Bible said if two of agree, it shall be done." The minister said, "Does this man want to marry you ?" She said, "Do I have to tell you ?" The minister replied, "Yes. How am I going to agree, if I don't know more about what we are agreeing on ?" She said, "Well, to tell the truth, he's already married --- but you have to agree with me that he will be my husband." Now you wonder about people like that. When they get up in the morning, how do they find the floor ? Her heart was condemning her. What she wanted agreement on was against God's Word. How in the world could you release faith for God to break up a home so the husband could marry another woman ? As someone has stated, that is ignorance gone to seed --- or maybe selfishness gone to seed. But there are some people who don't know any better. God's people are destroyed for a lack of knowledge.
