SET A WATCH OVER YOUR MOUTH ! Jesus said, a man can have what he say if you believe and doubt not in his heart those things which he is saying ! (Mark 11:23) and it works so well he also included it in your praying: verse 24. When you switch from the negative and begin to confess the positive side and agree with God, it takes time for the positive to the conceived in your heart. It takes weeks and months and even years to cause that to become a reality in your life. It is because the enemy of all humanity have had plenty of time to develop you in the negative stream of life. Then there are some things you will have to shut off from your vocabulary because they work against you. They keep you from having the God kind of faith in what you say. It weakens your words so there is no effectiveness in the God kind of faith at work for you. Job gives us great insight when he said: "For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me." (Joe 3:25). Job wasn't just in fear. He was highly developed in that fear. Notice the phrase, "The thing which I greatly feared." You must resist the spirit of fear as you would resist the demon that is behind that spirit. You must learn to operate in the principles of the Word of Faith. Don't expect to become highly developed in the Word of faith overnight. But this is developed by practice. Eventually, you will be developed to the point where you can speak words of faith which will change the course of your life. Remember, just saying something once doesn't mean that that thing will happen. But saying those things is involved in causing either faith or fear to come and also in releasing your faith or fear for those things. I want us to go back to a particular Scripture that is found in (1 John 1:1-7). "[We are writing] about the Word of life [in] Him who existed from the beginning. Whom we have heard, whom we have seen with our [own] eyes, whom we have gazed upon [for ourselves] and have touched with our [own] hands. And the life [an aspect of His being] was revealed (made manifest, demonstrated), and we saw [as eyewitnesses] and are testifying to and declaring to you the Life, the eternal Life [in Him] who already existed with the Father and who [actually] was made visible (was revealed) to us [His followers]. Notice, John Calls Jesus the Word of Life: then he says in Him who exists from the beginning, whom we have heard, whom we have seen with our own eyes, whom we have gazed upon for ourselves and have touched with our on hands. He goes on to say and the Life [an aspect of His being]: the Scriptures also says, "being born again not of corruptible seed but by incorruptible seed by the Word of God which liveth and abided for ever." (1 Peter 1:23). This Life was revealed (made manifest, demonstrated) and we saw [as eyewitnesses] and are testifying to and declare to you the Life, The Eternal Life [in Him] Who Already Existed with the Father and who [actually was made visible (was revealed) to us [His followers] (John 1:1-5). What we have seen and [ourselves] heard by, we also tell you, so that you too may realize and enjoy fellowship as partners in partakers with us. And [this] fellowship that we have [which is a distinguishing mark of Christians] is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ [the Messiah]. And we are now writing these things to you so that our joy [in seeing you included] may be full [and your joy may be complete]. And this is the message [the message of promise] which we have heard from Him and now are reporting to you: God Is Light, and there is no darkness in Him at all [no, not in any way]. [So] if we say we are partakers together and enjoy fellowship with Him when we live and move and are walking about in darkness, we are [both] speaking falsely and do not live and practice the Truth [which The Gospel presents]. But [if we really] are living and walking in the Light, as He [Himself] is in the Light, we have[true unbroken] fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses (removes) us from all sin and guilt [keeps us cleansed from sin in all its forms and manifestations]." The amplified Bible.
