SCRIPTURAL BONDAGE !

SCRIPTURAL BONDAGE ! Today there are many Christians who have been deceived by the evil one. Satan is called the deceiver. His ability is in his deception. Jesus stripped him of his authority and power. God's Word will always strip the armor from Satan and brings to light his deception. But you are the one who is responsible for presenting your body to God and the renewal of your mind. (Romans 12:1-2). "I Appeal to you therefore, brethren, and beg of you in view of [all] the mercies of God, to make a decisive dedication of your bodies [presenting all your members and faculties] as a living sacrifice, holy (devoted, consecrated) and well pleasing to God, which is your reasonable (rational, intelligent) service and spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world (this age), [fashioned after and adapting to its external, superficial customs], but be transformed (changed) by the (entire) renewal of your mind [by its new ideas and its new attitude], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the theme which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His sight for you]." The amplified Bible. Deception of Satan is his only armor. And he uses it through your flesh and an un-renewed mind. God's word will penetrate that, and explode him. Many are held in bondage by certain Scripture. Have you noticed that the devil tried to put Jesus in bondage by quoting scriptures ? Now the enemy knows the Scriptures, but he will quote them out of context because he cannot walk in the light of them and to bring you into spiritual bondage as well as physical bondage. If you take scripture out of context, you can make the Bible say anything you want it to say. For example, the Bible says that Judas went out and hung himself. Then in another place Jesus said, "Go thou and do likewise." If you take these two scriptures out of context and put them together, you could say that the Bible says it is alright to go hang yourself. Well, some folks have. They have hung themselves spiritually or physically by doing so. Search scriptures hold people in bondage because they seem to say things which they do not say at all. If you learn to rightly divide the Word, it will produce liberty. In fact it is called the perfect law of liberty. It will also produce power and strength in your life. Just as food will produce physical strength for the body, so will the Word of God produce spiritual strength for the spirit man. You need to feast on the Word and be doers of it.
