SARAH RECEIVED STRENGHT TO CONCEIVE ! The Bible specifically speaks of Sarah in Hebrews. "Through faith also Sarah herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised." (Hebrews 11:11). Now, to understand this you would have to go back to Genesis 18:9-through 15). "And they said unto him, where is Sarah, thy wife ? And he said, Behold in the tent. Verse 10, and he said, I will surely return unto thee according to the time of life; and, lo, Sarah, thy wife, shall have a son. And Sarah heard it in the tent door, which was behind him. Verse 11, Now Abraham and Sarah were old and well stricken in age; and it seems to be with Sarah after the manner of women. Verse 12, Therefore Sarah laughed within herself, said, After I have become old shall I have pleasure, my lord being old also ? Verse 13, And the Lord said unto Abraham, Wherefore did Sarah laugh, said, shall not of a surety bear a child, who am old ? Verse 14, Is anything too hard for the Lord ? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son. Verse 15, Then Sarah denied, saying, I laughed not; for she was afraid. And he said, No; but thou didst laugh." Now the Scriptures said that she heard what the Lord had said: Now remember, that faith in God comes by hearing and by hearing the Word of God. (Romans 10:17). Sarah received the strength-based on what she had heard the Lord said to Abraham in the tent door that day; that the Lord had spoken to Abraham; and she conceive seed of the promise through faith. Sarah received strength to conceive seed through faith. The same principle worked for her that work for Abraham.
