REASON NUMBER ONE !

REASON NUMBER ONE ! As I stated in the last lesson there are seven primary reasons why the confession of God's Word works for you. Reason number one, confession of God's Word works because it is the way you sow seeds in the kingdom. Jesus was being questioned by the religious people of his day when will the kingdom be established; NaturallySpeaking they wanted the kingdom or the ruler of the Roman government to cease: in (Luke 17:20). "And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, the kingdom of God comes not with observation. Neither shall they say, Lo here ! Or lo there ! For, behold the kingdom of God is in the midst of you.." Greek entos, meaning in the midst. It could not be said of a self-righteous, Christ rejecting Pharisees that the kingdom of God, as to its spiritual content, was "Within him," as in the dispensational meaning. The kingdom in its outward form, as covenant to King David (2 Samuel 7:16, and described by the prophets (Zacharias 12:8) had been rejected by the Jews, so that, during this present age, it would not "come with observation" (literal. "Outward show") but in the hearts (spirit) of men and women (Luke 19:11-12; Acts 1:6-8; Romans 14:17). Meantime, the kingdom was actually "in the midst" of the Pharisees and the person of the King Jesus and His disciples. Ultimately the kingdom of heaven will come with outward show. See verse. 24. "And he said, so is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground; and should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knows not how." (Mark 4:26-27). It is not necessary that you completely understand everything about God's method. But you must understand how to apply it. This is a principle of God. So to put it to work in your life, you must be obedient to God's Word and do what He said to do. Hold fast to your confession of faith. But it does help when you can understand it. Study these things and meditate on them. The more understanding you get of the Word of God, the harder it is for Satan to steal it from you. There are times when people hear the word and receive it with gladness. But when affliction and prosecution arises because of the Word, they are offended. The major problem is not understanding it. Sowing by the kingdom method will bring success in any area. When you confess (speak) God's Word, you are sowing seeds. The same thing is true, when you are speaking what the devil and the world are saying, you are sowing seeds. (Mark 4:26 says The Kingdom of God is . . . As if a man should cast seed into the ground. God doesn't sow the seed. Men and women does it. God furnishes the seed, also true Satan furnishes this seed, but you must sow them. In Mark 4 and Matthew 13, specifically the seed is the Word of God. But yet we find in Matthew 12:35 that you could also sow the devil's words in your heart.
