NEW COVENANT PRAYER !

NEW COVENANT PRAYER ! In the day that Jesus was teaching, they were operating under the Mosaic law. The prayer that Jesus taught His disciples to pray he was under the old covenant. You will notice that it did not include the name of Jesus. New Testament prayer is prayed to the Father in the name of Jesus. The new covenant prayer is different, for it is governed by the rules of the new covenant. The New Testament is a new contract it is the will of the Lord Jesus Christ, seal with Jesus own blood. It is established on better promises, if the old had been perfect, it would not have passed away; but finding fault with it, God made a new covenant (read Hebrews 8:6-8). "But as it now is, He (Christ) has acquired a [priestly] ministry which is as much superior and more excellent [then the old] as covenant [the agreement] of which He Is the Mediator (the Arbiter, agent) is superior and more excellent, [because] it is eacted and rests upon more important (sublimer, higher, and nobler) promises. For if the first covenant had been without defect, there would have been no room for another one or any attempt to institute another one. However, He finds fault with them [showing its inadequacy] when He says, Behold, the days will come says the Lord, when I will make an ratify a new covenant or agreement with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah. It will not be like the covenant that I made with their forefathers on the day when I grasped them by the he to help and relieve them and to relieve them out from the land of Egypt, for they did not abide in My agreement with the, and so I withdrew My favor and disregarded them as says the Lord." The amplified Bible. Please read verses 11 verses 12 verses 13. There are many people who have been said and filled with spirit for years, yet have never read their contract. They are quick to tell you that you never know what God will do. They don't realize that their new contract reveals what He will do ! "And in that day you shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, whatsoever you shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you (John 16:23). Here Jesus is beginning to teach the disciples new covenant rules for prayer. In that day. What day is he talking about ? After the day of Pentecost, when the Holy Ghost has come --- and when the newcomer is in operation-- then, you shall ask me nothing.
