LAW OF GIVING AND RECEIVING ! When you give, you set a law in motion. Every time you give to God's work for Jesus sake and the Gospels, it will come back multiplied. But the problem is that sometimes people don't understand that, therefore they don't believe it. In fact, many believers don't even believe the Bible. It may come all right, but they miss it because they weren't looking for it. I believe the return will always come. Let's say it this way. Opportunity for blessing will always come. It may be in a business deal. It may be in something that you didn't expect at all. But you can miss out on it if you are not looking for it, if you are not believing for it. You should have your faith out there expecting. When you give, you should be keeping the Word of God in your mouth concerning your giving: "Lord, you said; give and it shall be given unto me, good measures pressed down running over shall men give into my bosom." I have given therefore I receive your blessings. And the Scriptures also says, in the measure that you give it shall be given unto you. But some have just pitched their offering in the bucket and said, "Well, I guess it's gone. But I'll get rewarded when I get to heaven. If you are giving money; you want need it when you get to heaven, you needed here in this earth ! It will be wonderful then. I'll get all of these riches I am storing up in heaven." What would you do with them there ? We sing that song, "won't be wonderful when we all get to heaven ?" Yes, it will be wonderful then. But what about the here and now ? What are you going to do about the bills that needs to be paid ? Maybe many of you are thinking that you're going to pray about. We are looking at some practical thing. Not everything is spiritual. Don't take a spiritual attitude about everything the Bible says. Don't try to say when Paul is talking about money that he is referring to spiritual things. The apostle Paul talks about finances in (2 Corinthians 8 and 9. Two whole chapters are devoted to talking about money and finances. It's time we begin to believe God and use our faith for some things in the financial realm. Don't let people talk you out of what God promised. That's what religion does, because they have no understanding in this area. The things God has given you by promise are not wrong for you. Believe for them, you must have the Word of promise on your lips and in your heart ! Put your confession of faith out there for those promises. But do it by the Bible method. "Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; for he is faithful that promised." (Hebrews 10:23). The word profession here is actually the same word that is translated confession. So we must hold fast to the confession of our faith. He said that another way; your words and God's Words should be the confession of what you say you believe.
