LAW OF FAITH !

LAW OF FAITH ! Faith is A Law. It's a law of God. The apostle Paul talks about that in (Romans 3). "Where is boasting then ? It is excluded [rule out entire] By what law ? Of works ? No: the law of works that he is talking about is the old covenant or old testament ! But by the law of faith." The law of faith is in the new covenant or New Testament. (Romans 3:27). The apostle Paul was referring to receiving Jesus Christ by faith and entering into the provisions by faith. He says you can't boast about it--- you can't boast about the fact that your sins are gone, because it is something you have received it by faith. "Where is boasting then ?" It is excluded. By what law ? Works ? No, but by the law of faith. The law of the old Testament was a law of works. But now under the new covenant, it's by the law of faith. So we could say that faith is the law of the New Covenant. I'm talking about the God kind of thing that operates under the New Covenant which is the New Testament. Under the law, their works made them righteous. But under the New Covenant, righteousness is not by works but by faith. Righteousness now comes through the law of faith. "Do we then made void the law through faith ? God forbid: yes, we establish the law. (Romans 3:31). What law is the apostle Paul establishing ? The law of faith. I believe this is the same law the apostle Paul refers to in (Romans 8). "For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it (the carnal mind) is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be." (Romans 8:6-7). The carnal mind cannot operate in the law of God. I believe the law of God he is referring to is the law of faith. It is like God's law of gravity. It works. Whether or not you believe it, it still works. The law of gravity works all the time. God's law of faith works and it works all the time. The problem is that carnal minded people don't work it. They are in bondage and under the traditions of men ! The law of gravity is mandatory. This lower faith is optional. But God tells us how to operate. It will work with whatever it is applied properly it will not work whenever you fail to work it God's way . Now back to Rightly Dividing The Word: verse 7 in (1 Corinthians 2: 7). "But Brother what we are sitting forth is a wisdom of God once hidden [from the human understanding] [the carnal mind] and now revealed to us by God---[that wisdom] which God devised and decreed before the ages for our glorification [two lift us into the glory of His presence]. None of the rulers of this age or world perceived and recognized and understood this, for if they had, they would never have crucified the Lord of glory. But, on the contrary, as the Scriptures says, what eye has not seen and ear has not heard and has not entered into the heart of man. [All that] God has prepared (made and keeps ready) for those who love Him [who hold Him in affectionate reverence, promptly obeying Him and gratefully recognizing the benefits He has bestowed."
