KEYS TO ANSWERED PRAYER ! One of the keys to answered prayer is to believe you receive when you pray. "What things soever you desire, when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you shall have them." (Mark 11:24) . This passage of Scripture is not talking about believing with your head, it says when you are praying believe; not after your pray ! (Romans 10:10). "For with the heart a person believes (adheres to, trust in, and relies on Christ) and so is justified (declared righteous, except the will to God) and with the mouth he confesses (declared openly and speak out freely his faith) and confirms (his) salvation." The amplified Bible. Now the King James version reads; for with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." These passages of Scripture are talking a bout the innermost core of your being the hidden man. The real you, you are a spirit, you live in the body; and you possess a soul. Now, the apostle Paul in (1 Thessalonians 5:23). "And may the God of peace Himself sanctify you through and through [separate you from profane things, make you pure and wolly consecrated to God]; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved sound and complete [and found blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ [the Messiah]. The amplified Bible. The faith principle of (Mark 11:23) states that you can have what you say. It is a faith principle which you can employ everyday by speaking right words. Another key to answered prayer is to speak in agreement with your prayers daily. You control the words that come out of your mouth. This is where the help of the Holy Ghost comes to help you. For example, one day I was having a problem with a tractor. It had given me trouble a couple of times and I wanted to say, "that thing comes apart every time I take it to the field." I knew better than to say it, but it just rolls up within me and it wanted to come out so bad. I told my wife I will just love to make it bad confession here, but I did dare do it. I have trained myself to believe that what I say will come to pass. My mind is renewed to God's Word. Jesus went on to say in verse 24 that it will also work in prayer. You can use the same principle in prayer. He shall have whatsoever he saith. He didn't have it then, but he shall have it. Many Christians cancel their prayer with unwise words. Now, look again in verse 23; "and shall not doubt in his heart, but Sall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass: he shall have whatsoever he saith."
