HOLD FAST TO YOUR CONFESSION ! "Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession, which is our confession (Hebrews 4:14). Here's where so many have missed it. Most people hold fast to the problem or the circumstances. They hold fast to the sickness or the disease. We are told to hold fast to our confession of faith. Because Jesus is our high priest. Our confession should agree with the Word of God. Not the words of the devil are the words of media and the world. If it doesn't, it is a confession of unbelief because it agrees with Satan. The confession of your mouth, even after you have prayed or said correctly, will determine whether or not you receive. The rule or the principal for asking anything from God is found in (James 1: 5). Test of faith: and I may add it is not God testing your faith. The secret of answered prayer; "If any of you lack (wanting) wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men deliberately and upbraided not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that waivereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any them of the law. A double (dubious) minded man is unstable in all his way." If prayed you have prayed or said and ask God for something, and then say, "I just don't know what I am going to do; it's just not working out," you blew it ! You cancelled your prayer or what you have saying. That prayer are you're saying will not work for you. Hold fast to the profession which is your confession of your faith. "Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider The Apostle and high priest of our profession, Christ Jesus (Hebrews 3: 11). Actually, in Greek the word for profession means "Confession." So we are to consider Jesus Christ, The Word, As the High priest of the confession of our faith. I don't know what that means to you; But it should mean exactly what it says ! Here is what it means to me: when I prayed speaking faith filled words concerning the things I desire, I can see Jesus, sitting at the right hand of God the Father, nudging The Father and saying, "he is holding fast to the Word, saying the same things You and I said; he is returning Your Word To You. Now let's perform it just the way he said it." Jesus Confesses to the Father what I say if it agrees with the Word of God. But if I say, "Lord, I have prayed and it is not working out," He Cannot Say, "Father, he has prayed, but it is not working out." The father They would say, those are not my words--- who said that ? Doesn't he know that I said he could have whatever he says, even in prayer ?" (Mark 11: 23).
