HEART DECEPTION ! Why would the tongue deceive the heart ? It's because the tongue speaks the words which are picked up by the inner ear and fed directly into the heart. That's why it's important that the truth of the gospel should be preached in all the world, because the mind did not get saved it has to be renewed again. If you are talking like your father the devil and the world: then you have received your heart into what you have thought was good. And in your heart or spirit assumes that what you speak is what you want. Your tongue can deceive your heart into believing that the words spoken are exactly what you want. Your spirit will say, "Let's find a way to bring that to pass." You As Well As Me Have to choose wisely what we will say ! I told the story of how my wife brought a CD in one morning as I was sitting meditating on the Word of God: as she put the CD into the player, as I was listening to what was being said; I thought out loud and said who is that, she replied that's you: I replied what in the world was I preaching because it was not the gospel it was condemnation it wasn't the gospel. I was preaching the people in to sin conscious rather than what the Bible has to say about that ! You see I was traditionally bound by what I've been hearing from the pulpit for years because that has been what was handed down traditionally by men. Some of the things that you hear a preacher say are not necessarily in the Bible if it is in the Bible then they have taught it from the perspective of a commentary. So I begin to renew my mind with the Gospel of Pace. Jesus said, "Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of Man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him neither in this world, neither in the world to come. Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or either make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit. O generation of vipers, how can you being evil, speak good things ? For our of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things. But I say unto you, that every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give an account thereof in the day of judgment. For by thy words thou shall be justified, and by thy words thou shall be condemn." All vipers have two tongues ! One could hardly teach this without getting into Mark chapter 4. This is the parable of the sower. Jesus talked about the sower sowing the Word. We are not going to deal so much with the parable, but I want to deal with some of the things Jesus said about it when He interpreted the parable for them. The sower soweth. . . (Mark 4:14). What is the man or the woman sowing ? Words. Words that are spoken or seed. Specifically, Jesus Is Talking about the Word of God. That is what God was talking about when He told Joshua, "Don't let the word of God depart out of your mouth." Many of you are in situations that you don't even know how it started. I'm going to tell you the truth, it is because of the words that you have sown in the past !
