GOD'S DIVINE ENEREGY ! The word whereby means "by this means," or "by way of" these precious promises. When you begin to lay hold on God's promises by quoting them daily, there are some people who will say, "you must think you are God, going around saying what God said." No, I am not God, but I am a partaker of the divine nature. The divine power of God already has been given to us; if you are truly born again. God's power is in His Word. He is . . . Upholding all things by the Word of his power. . .(Hebrews 1:3). He created all things with His Word. His divine power is in His Word. It is through His divine power that He has already given us these things. This divine power is His Divine Word. Verse four verify this by stating, whereby (or by this means) are given unto us exceedingly great and precious promises. . . The seed that will cause the promise to become a reality in your life is in the promise itself. The divine power give us the promises --- which is the Word of God. The word power here is the Greek word dunamis. This word is the source of our words dynamite and dynamo. The idea present here is that God has given us a dynamo that will produce spiritual power, causing us to possess the promises He has given. Through God's dunamis power --- self energizing, self reproducing power --- we are able to possess the promises. Now remember, . . . Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. (Hebrews 11:1). Faith is the substance. It takes spiritual energy to bring the things hoped for into manifestation. The energy itself comes from the Word of God. Through these promises of God, He Has Given us . . . All things that pertain to life and godliness . . .(2 Peter 1:3). But first you must have the knowledge of the promise. Once you have the knowledge of what is given, then you must make a decision to act on it.
