FAITH IN GOD'S WORD -- WHY IT WORKS ! In this lesson we are dealing with wind confession of God's Word works. When you tell people to confess the Word of God, they get all kinds of ideals about what you mean. Some think you mean they should go to their banker quote Scriptures to him or her, when they can't pay their note. Confessing the word of God is for the purpose of hearing yourself say the same thing that God said about you. And I will add, hearing is in the continual sense; you just don't hear one time and then that is it: you must continual hearing. It is not up to the banker to hear it all; is not up to the neighbors to hear it; God wants you to hear it. To confess means "to say the same thing," or "to admit." All most people know about confession is confessing their sins; and you should confess sins when you have sinned ! However, we are not talking about confession of sins. Confessing God's Word is admitting That God's Word is true. Confession is a way to possess the things God has already given by the Word of promise. God's Word will not come back void it will accomplish where unto the thing that it has been sent ! But many fail to grasp this Bible truth. Some run into the ditch on the right side of the road and some run into the ditch on the left side of the road because they have not understood this biblical principle. When you really understand faith in God and confession, you can rightly apply it to your life and situations and circumstances and stay out of the ditch. There are those who will say, "this is to mechanical; you are just trying to force God into something." No, this is God's principle of faith in action. Why do you need to hear it continually ? Because, faith in God only comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God (Romans 10:17). Confession is a way to possession. It isn't the only way, but it's one Biblical Way.
