FAITH IN GOD COMES FROM THE WORD,NOT PRAYER ! I once heard someone say, "I prayed all night about a certain situation, just stayed up and prayed all night." Well, if they had prayed in faith, they would have gone to sleep. Pray in faith, in other words, pray the word of God then rest in the Lord. When you start praying in faith, your words will be few, but they will be effective. Sometimes we pray just trying to muster up some faith. That is not scriptural, that is religion that has been handed down through tradition; and the traditions of men make the Word of God of not effect. Sometimes we pray just trying to muster up some faith. Faith in God only comes by hearing and by hearing the Word of God, not by praying. (Romans 10:17). Go to the Word of God and hear the Word until faith comes; and the only way you can hear the Word is by saying what the Words say; don't be too quick to pray. Sometimes we start talking before we know what to say. Hear The Word. . . Hear the Word. . . Hear the Word. . . Yes it is in a continual sense that you hear the Word. It might take a week or a month, but faith will come ! Then go to God with the prayer of faith and thank Him. You wont have to stay there long. You can get more from God in two minutes, Believing Him, then you can praying all night in unbelief. Accurate prayer is formed from the Word of God. (Psalms 103:20) says "Bless the Lord, you his angels, that excelling straight, that do his commandments, harkening unto the voice of his word." Brothers and sisters, if you are not giving voice to God's Word then you are wasting your time praying. The Angels get their assignment from your voice of God's Word. "They do his commandments, harkening unto the voice of his word. God has also said put him in remembrance. It is not as though he forgot, you need to hear it as well as the Angels that are assigned to you ! The Scripture says in (Hebrews 1:14). Are they not all ministering (serving) spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation ?" "Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip. For if the words spoken by Angels were steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompense of reward how shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first begin to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him; God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his on will (Word)". (Hebrews 2:1-4).
