FAITH --- GOD'S SUBSTANCE ! Faith is the substance of things hoped for, evidence of things not seen. Substance is the raw material are the things that would cause the manifestation. God's Words mixed with your words is the substance of the raw material of things hoped for ! Now let's go to (Hebrews 1). "God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high." (Hebrews 1:1-3). Notice the phrase in verse 2, . . . By whom also he made the worlds. It refers to (Jesus) The Word of God. He said, . . . His Son. . . By whom also he made the worlds. And Jesus was the Word of God on earth. Your words, Mixed with God's Word becomes Christ Jesus in you ! John says the word became flesh and dwelt among us. So he is referring to Jesus as the Son and the Word in this Scriptures. "Who being the brightness of his glory (God's glory), and the express image of his person. . . The phrase express image really means the exact expression of God's person. The Word of God, or Jesus, was the exact expression of God's substance. Remember, the cursing of the figtree: an in animate object, Jesus speaks to. Verse 13, "And seeing a fig free for all, having it leave, he came, if perhaps he might find anything on it; and when he came to it, he found nothing but leave; for the time of these was not yet. 14, And Jesus answered and said unto it, no man eat fruit of thee here after forever. And his disciples heard it. Verse 20, And in the morning, as they pass by, they solve the fee tree dried up from the roots. And Peter, calling to remembrance, saith unto him, Master, behold, the figtree which thou cursedst is withered away. And Jesus, answering, saith unto them, have faith in God. The original Greek says have the God kind of faith ! For verily I say unto you, whosoever shall say unto this mountain, be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass, he shall have what ever he saith."
