FAITH AND CONFESSION ! Notice that Jesus said it was His faith. The leper man's faith was released in his corresponding action as he went. It is possible that the other nine lost their healing. Have you ever noticed, that people that do get healed; the sickness or disease seems to always come back. Of course, this is just speculation since the Bible does not say: but they could have gone a ways down the road, and begin to look at them themselves and say, "Look, we're cleansed, now we can do what we want to do. We don't want to show ourselves to the priest. We are going to Damascus now that we are healed." I'm not saying this did happen, but it is a possibility that they disobeyed Jesus and lost their healing. But as far as Jesus was concerned, they were healed all ten of them. There wasn't anything else He could do. He had spoken the Word. Now, as far as God is concerned, You who are trusting God by what he said; you are healed by the stripes of Jesus: that should be your confession. Their part was to have corresponding actions toward His Words. "Go show yourselves to the priests. And as they went, they were cleansed. But I question if the other nine kept their healing, because Jesus asked the question, "Were there not ten cleansed ? But where are the nine ?" In other words, if the nine are healed, why didn't they returned to give thanks ? Also, you who are believing God By Trusting His Word Have to have corresponding actions towards His Word: that would be doing your part. I'm not saying stop taking your medicine; but take a dose of the Scriptures daily as you take your medicine. (Isaiah 53:4--5) Psalms 103: 3 3; Exodus 15:26; Galatians 3:13; Psalms 107:20). Corresponding actions is important to anything you believe, spiritual or natural things. I heard of a former, one fall as he had planted wheat, but it didn't come up to a good standard. He said he told the man who worked for him, "while I am gone, if it gets dry another of come plow it under, because there just isn't enough to make a good yield." But, his wife said, "Let's pray over that wheat and confess the Word of God over it, and believe that it will produce." He said, "Now you know I'm a faith man all right, but you have two have something to confess over, and it doesn't look like there is enough to even use our faith on." They went to a meeting, and when they came back, it had rained and they had not plowed the wheat under. So they looked at it again, and it begin to look a little better. His wife talked him into talking to the wheat. They spoke faith filled words over it. They read (Malachi 3:11, Psalms 1:3, and Deuteronomy 28:1--15), to the wheat. They took the Word of God and mixed their faith with it. They confessed the promises of God over it. Then they fertilized it. When they cut the wheat that fall, that field made 50 bushels of wheat to the acre. Some of the other fields cut as much as 70 bushels to the acre. There corresponding actions was confessing the Word over it, fertilizing it, and patiently waiting for the crop to grow to maturity before they brought the combine into the field. If they had said, "they believe we have a good crop, so let's combine the wheat," when they only had the blade, then they would have been disappointed. But they continue to use good business practice and reaped a good harvest.
