DON'T LEAVE THE PLANTING TO JESUS ! I have heard people say, "Well, I'm just going to leave it up to God. Just whatever God wills, that's what will happen to me." Let's bring that down on a natural level and see if that is what you want. If I were to say that about my friends farm, "Well, I'm just leaving his farming but to God; I'm not going to ask him to plan these okra seeds this year, just whatever he grows out there this year will be God's will for him and me." What do you think the harvest will be ? I can tell you what he'll harvest with be. Cockleburs, Johnson grass, pigweeds, and crabgrass. But he and I wouldn't have anything to eat, nor anything that could be sold. Why ? Because the earth is under a curse. You must force it to produce good things. You have to plant good seeds. Notice Jesus says, "The Kingdom of God is as if a man cast a seed into the ground and he should sleep and rise night and day. The seed should spring up and grow, he knows not how, for the earth brings forth fruit of herself." (Mark 4:26-27). The earth in our case is the heart or the spirit of mankind is going to produce fruit. Isn't that what Jesus said ? Notice that in Mark chapter 4, He has already established that the seed is sown in the heart of man. We hear people talk about the heart, and they put their hand over their physical heart, and they were saying they believe God with all their heart; but Jesus was not referring to the blood pump. He was referring to in your Spirit (heart) the center most important part of mankind; or the core of your being. When something scares you, and you have said, "My heart jumped up into my mouth." But where did you feel something ? It was down in the pit of your stomach. That's where your spirit is. When nervous you said, "I have butterflies in my stomach" it's where your spirit is. At those times, and was feeling something in your spirit. That spirit, the heart or core, is the production center. That is where the kingdom of God resides, if you are truly born again. It dwells inside of you. That's where Jesus dwells in the person of the Holy Spirit. And this kingdom within you is capable of producing everything that you plant in it. You can plant good seeds in it, or you can plant bad seeds in it. Regardless of whatever your planting, what is the words of the world and the enemy: you're going to reap a harvest. You can plant the word of God, or you can plant the words of the devil. Again regardless to whatever your planting in your spirit you are going to reap a harvest: "Do not be deceived and deluded and misled; God will not allow Himself to be sneered at (scorned,disdained, or morked by mere pretensions or professions (confession), or by His precepts being set aside). [He inevitably [the person] deludes himself who attempt to delude God]. For whatever a man sows, that and that only is what he will reap. For he who sows to his or her own flesh (lower nature, sensuality) will from the flesh reap decay and ruin and destruction, but he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life." (Galatians 6:7-8-9). The Word of God is spirit life or eternal life !
