DON'T GO WHOLE HOG WHEN HALF READY ! There was a man in a certain city who got born again and turned on to the God kind of faith. He thought this was the greatest thing he had ever heard. He learned that he was redeemed from the curse, from sickness and disease, and that God was his healer. (Galatians 3:13; Exodus 15:26; Psalms 103:3). He had been raised in a certain denominational church that didn't teach these truths. When he heard it, he just grabbed it, and begin to run with it, so to speak. He was a new believer or Christian and wasn't developed in it, but he gave mental assent to these Bible truths. He had diabetes, and five other things wrong with him. Anyone of them was enough to kill him. He just went "whole hog," so to speak. He threw all his medicine away and almost died. He began to have severe physical problems. I heard that a certain preacher counsel with him, and some others counseled with him. The preacher said, "Go ahead and take your medicine. The insulin will keep the symptoms down. It's easier to believe you are healed when you feel well. All the medicine does is to keep the symptoms down and make you able to function. It's not going to heal you. No one has ever been healed by taking insulin. Then on the other hand, it won't keep you from being healed. So, every time you take the insulin, say, "Thank God, I believe I received my healing. Mix your faith with the Word of God. So he took the advice. He confessed his healing and confessed the Word of God over his body daily. Among other things, he had cancer in both lungs, an enlarged heart, and high blood pressure. The doctor said he had the highest blood pressure he had ever seen any man have and live. After 90 days the preacher said he saw the doctors report. The doctor said, "You can quit taking insulin --- you don't need it anymore. Your heart is perfectly normal, your blood pressure is normal. There is no sign or spot in one long, and just a very small spot in the other, but it's much smaller." The man received a good report. He was almost totally well in 90 days. I am convinced that he would have died, if he had not gotten back on his medicine. He was a young Christian or believer with more zeal than knowledge. There are many people perhaps thinking that I'm teaching or preaching something new or something that is not biblically sound. I know that the things that I have been sharing for the last five years work, for I have tested them myself. Yes I preach what I practice ! This is why you read in the newspaper sometimes wear a child died because the parents would not get them medical help. They believe the child was healed. But the child died. Someone may have told them to stop the child's medicine because they prayed for healing. Many tragic things happen needlessly because of lack of knowledge. You certainly wont get healed just because you stay away from doctors or medicine. You could die because you stayed away. But ultimately, all healing comes from God. Doctors have just learned how to aid the body process in healing and holding down the symptoms. Some of these things need to be said because soul many goal beyond their faith and get in serious trouble, and because of their religious ideas they think that God is going to change the outcome. No, if you don't get your mouth lined up with what God has said then your situation will never change ! It is written, He Sent His Word and healed them and deliver them from all of their destruction. Psalms 107: 20). It is also written, "Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows; yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon him, and with his stripes you are healed." (Isaiah 53:4--5).
