DON'T ACT LIKE THE DEVIL ! I would rather act like God than act like the devil. If I am acting like God, saying what God said about me, then those who are saying what the devil say it all acted like their father the devil. It is possible to be joined into a church and not born again. If you always quoting what the devil said, then you are agreeing with the devil. The devil will tell you, "you're sick, and you are going to die. You are never going to get any better." Well, it may look that way on the surface. But don't quote the devil --- he is a liar. Even when there is no hope in the natural, don't confess no hope but go to God's Word and get some supernatural hope. The Word of God say is in (Hebrews 11:1). "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." The word substance also means "assurance". The apostle Paul said of Abraham, "For the promise to Abraham or his posterity, that he should inherit the world, did not come through [observing the commandments of] the Law but through the righteousness of faith. If it is the adherents of the Law who are to be the heirs, then faith is made futile and empty of all meaning and the promise [of God is made void (is annulled and has no power). For the Law results in [divine] wrath, but where there is no law there is no transgression [of it either]. Therefore, [inheriting] the promise is the outcome of faith and depends [entirely] on faith, in order that it might be given as an act of grace (unmerited favor), [God's willingness] to make it stable and valid and guaranteed to all his descendents----not only to the devotees and adherents of the Law, but also to those who share the faith of Abraham, who is [thus] the father of us all. As it is written, I have made you the father of many nations. [He was appointed our father] in the sight of God in whom he believed, who gives life to the day and speaks of the nonexistent thing that [He has foretold and promised] as if they [already existed. For Abraham, human reason for] hope being gone, hoped in faith that he should become the father of many nations, as he had been promised, So [numberless] share your descendents be. He did not weaken in faith when he considered the [utter] importance of his own body, which was as good as dead because he was about 100 years old, or [when he considered] the barrenness of Sarah's [deadened] womb. No unbelief or distrust made him waver (doubtingly question) concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong and was empowered by faith as he gave praise and glory to God, fully satisfied and assured that God was able and mighty to keep His word and to do what He had promised. This is why his faith was credited to him as righteousness (right standing with God). But [the words], it was credited to him, were written not for his sake alone, But [they were written] for our sakes too. [Righteousness, right standing acceptable to God] will be granted and credited to us also who believe in [trust in, adhere to, and rely on) God, who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead." I suggest if you are sick or broke: go to the Scriptures and find the healing Scriptures and began to tell God what He said. That's prayer ! Or go to the Word of God and find where God promised to prosper you and do what He says !
