DON'T ACT LIKE THE DEVIL ! There are those who will say, "You are just trying to act like God." And I appreciate that; I usually say, "Thanks you very much." I would rather act like God than act like the devil. If I am acting like God, saying what God said about me, then those who are speaking and saying what the devil said are acting like the devil. If you are always quoting what the devil said, then you are agreeing with the devil. The devil will tell you, "you're sick, and you are going to die. You are never going to get any better." Well, it may look that way on the surface, but don't quote the devil -- don't even quote the doctor, he is a liar. Even when there is no hope, don't confess no hope, but go to God's word and get some hope. We are commanded in (Ephesians 4:29). "Let no foul or polluting language, nor evil word nor on wholesome or worthless talk (ever) come out of your mouth, but only such speech as is good and beneficial to the spiritual progress of others, as is fitting to the need and the occasion, that it may be a blessing and give grace God's favor to those who hear it." The amplified Bible. And in (Ephesians 5:1). "Therefore be imitators of God [copy] Him and follow His example, as well beloved children [imitate their father]. And walk in love,[extending meaning and delighting in one another] as Christ loved us and gave himself That up for us, a slain offering and sacrifice to God for you, so that it becomes a sweet fragrance." The amplified Bible. In the book of (Numbers 13). The children of Israel were told essentially, that God had given them the land; and that they were to go up and possess it. "And they went and came to Moses, and to Aaron, and to all the congregation of the children of Israel, unto the wilderness of Paran, to Kadesh; and brought back word unto them, and unto all the congregation, and show them the fruit of the land. And they told him, and said, we came unto the land whether thou sentest us, and surely it floweth with milk and honey; and this is the fruit of it. Nevertheless the people be strong that dwell in the land, and the cities are Walled, and very great: and moreover we saw the children of Anak there. The Amalekites dwell in the land of the South: and the Hittites, and the Jebusites, and the Amorites dwell in the mountains: and the Canaanites dwell by the sea, and by the coast of Jardin. And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it. But the men that went up with him said, We be not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we. And they brought up an evil report of the land which they had searched unto the children of Israel, saying, the land, though we have gone to search it, is a land that Eateth up the inhabitants thereof; and all the people that we saw in it are men of great stature." (Numbers 13:23 through 33). What was these 10 spies doing ? They were measuring themselves by the stature of the people that dwell in the land that flowed with milk and honey.
