DISCIPLINE YOUR MIND ! I want to show you how to discipline yourself to say what God said about you. When you say some of these things God said about you, you may feel like it's the biggest lie that you have ever let out of your mouth ! It's because feeling is from the part of the soul, your mind which is one of the emotions. And the Bible says, the carnal mind is enmity against God, it is not subject to the law of God neither indeed can be. (Romans 8:5-6-7). However, you are spirit that possesses a soul and that is wrapped in flesh. Your soul did not receive salvation: your spirit was reborn with the nature of God ! Therefore, as Paul the apostle told the church it (Romans 12:1-2). "I appeal to you therefore, brethren, and beg of you in view of all the mercies of God, to make a decisive dedication of your bodies [presenting all your members and faculties] as a living sacrifice, holy [devoted, consecrated\and well pleasing to God which is your reasonable (rational, intelligent) service and spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world (this age), (fashion after and adopting to its external, superficial customs] but be transformed (changed) by the [entire] renewal of your mind [by its new ideals and its new attitude], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the team which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His sight for you]." The amplified Bible. God said it to the apostle Paul, and that is the way He believe you will be. He doesn't see you the way you are, but the Way the Word says you are. Let's go through some scriptural confessions that all Biblically sound. These are selected to make you think the way God thinks about you. I like what Paul said in (Romans 3). "For what if someone did not believe ? Shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect ? God forbid: yes, let God be true, but every man a liar. . . (Romans 3:3-4). You may look at your own situation or circumstances and say, "I do not believe that my needs are met according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus." Whether you believe it or not, because belief is of the mind; faith is of the heart, God's Word said it. You need to be obedient to God's Word. Therefore, why don't you just line up your mind with what God said ? It will not happen in your life just because it's in the Bible. It happens only when you get your mind in agreement with what God said about you.
