CORRESPONDING ACTION !

CORRESPONDING ACTION ! One might say, "Yes, but James says faith without words, or faith without corresponding actions is dead. So if I don't act as though it were already true, then my faith is dead." Allow me to give you a parallel to that statement. Acting as those you have faith when you have none is double dead; in other words acting as though you have the God kind of faith is double dead. By that I mean their foolish actions will not only hurt them, but others also. Many people miss the whole part in what James said, and act foolishly. Don't do foolish things. Stay with the context of the Bible. You wouldn't have full corresponding action toward anything until you had the full manifestation of it. You can have some corresponding action. But scripturally, you cannot have full corresponding actions until you have full manifestation of what you ask or believe. Some people write checks knowing they don't have enough money in the bank, and say, "God will have to put the money in the bank before my checks get there." No. That is not how God operate. They will probably sell for God put the money in the bank. God is not manifesting money. He is not a counterfeiter. It is their responsibility, not God's to put the money in the bank. Now, it would be scriptural to write out the checks for the bills, then put them in the desk drawer. But don't mail them until you have the money in the bank. That would be as far as you could go with your corresponding action until you had more manifestation. You must use some common sense in these things. Faith in God is not foolish. But people do foolish things for lack of knowledge. There is a similar problem of overloading your faith for physical healing. Many people died needlessly because they said, "if I believe I'm healed, I'll throw away all my medicine," when their faith was not developed to that level. Medicine won't heal you; neither will medicine keep you from being healed. It is your mouth that will keep you from being healed; because you are simply keep saying that you are sick. Again, medicine will hold down the symptom until you can believe God for something better.
