CONFESSION OR LIE ! But some get the idea that you are lying if you quote the promises of God when It has not yet happened to you. There is a difference between confessing and lying. Confession is saying what God says in His Word about your self. Confession is agreeing with God. Many people have no problem with confessing that they are sinners, (Romans 3:23)." For more that all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God, " When the context says, all have sinned. When verse 24 says, "Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God has sent forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; to declare, I say, at this time his righteousness, that he might be just, and the justifier of him who believe in Jesus." To live would be to try to convince someone that you have it now when you really don't have it yet. People here you confessing. "My needs are met according to God which is in glory." They are just hearing you quote what God said. They might get the idea that you don't have a need, but you weren't trying to convince the that it was already true. You were agreeing with what God said, in order to get that divine energy to flow into you. The power to attain to the promise is in the Word itself. THE SEED IS IN ITSELF ! The law Genesis, found in chapter 1, verses 11 and 12, reveals, "The seed is in itself" and everything produces after its own kind. When God promises to supply your need or heal your body, the seed is in the promise itself. If you keep the Word in your mouth and speak it, you sow the seed in the kingdom. That's a kingdom principal. Jesus gives us some insight into this in (Luke 17). "And the apostle said unto the Lord, increase our faith. And the Lord said, if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you might say unto this sycamine tree, be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you." (Luke 17:5-6). Notice, the context in verse 3; "Pay Attention and always be on your guard looking out for one another. If your brother sins (misses the mark), solemnly tell him so and reprove him, and if he repents (feels sorry for having sinned) forgive him. And even if he sins against you seven times in a day, and turns to you seven times and says, I repent [I am sorry] you must forgive him (give up resentment and consider the offense as recalled and annulled. The amplified Bible. Apparently the apostle thought that they had to have more faith to forgive a brother or sister that had sin against them ! But Jesus said, if you had faith as a seed, you would say. You will speak to the sycamine tree --- to the problem area or the situation in your life. The tree He used as an object lesson was probably growing in the path they were walking. Jesus didn't say it would obey God, He said it would obey you. You could only get that kind of faith from God's Word. He said it would obey you because the power of binding and loosing is on earth, not in heaven. It must come through you. You must mix faith with God's Word. He said if you had faith as a seed, you would say. The King James translation says that you "might" say, but the Greek says that you "would" say it would obey you. It --- the inanimate object ---- world obey you.
