CONFESSION OF GOD'S WORD BRING POSSESSION ! God told Israel He had given them the land, but they were to go in and possess it. I think many times people are waiting on God to do something; when in fact, God has already done everything that we need from the beginning of the foundation of the world. We are the ones that have not done our part. Now, the land belonging to them, yet they didn't possess it for 40 years because they believe more in circumstances Than in God's Word. So we see that they could not enter again because of unbelief (Hebrews number 3:19). God said, I have given you the land." The word unbelief here literally means "disobedience." God said to possess it, but they said, "we are not able." So they did not obey God and they did not possess the land until all who doubted God had died. God hasn't changed; people are blatantly still disobeying God: and are given excuses of why they do it. Out of the 12 spies, Joshua and Caleb were the only two who went in to possess the land. These two held fast to their confession: "We are Well able to take the lead." For 40 years, they held fast to that one confession and they got what they said. Let us therefore hold fast to our confession of faith that we may possess those things that God says are our. The promised land is not a type of heaven, yet many believe it is. As some believe, but a type of victorious living on the earth. We are well able to in the end through faith. Remember confession of anything that you are believing God for is your possession. Many forsake the Word of God, and go after lying vanities. Confession of God's Word also renews your mind to God's thoughts and God's ways. I will say this again, if you don't like what you are having in your life; you have to change your confession of what you are saying. This simple, just get your tongue lined up to the Word of God. God has said His Word will not return void but it will accomplish in the things to which it has been sent.
