CONFESSION BRINGS YOUR POSSESSION ! If you sneeze or cough you probably would say I wonder what I'm coming down with. Again many people live by the dictates and voice of their body; then your first desire is to tell someone that you believe you have the flu. Your lower nature is ruling over your spirit man; this is why you must be born a new. If you will just quit thinking and talking about how you feel and say what God said (Matthew 8:17), you can stop 50% of it right there. Now don't misunderstand what I said. I didn't say that it was all in your mind. I don't deny that the disease or sickness is there or exists--- I deny its right to exist in my body. Just a little of a month ago, as I was teaching on this subject: the enemy attacked my body with what seems like a cold. I immediately begin to confess the healing Scriptures and it would not leave my body, so I had to continually be consistent in my confession. The Scripture says whole fast to the confession of your faith. "Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; for he is faithful that promised;" (Hebrews 10:23). Verse 35, says "Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompense of reward." Yes, I went and saw Dr. and he prescribed antibodies; I took it as prescribed, because medicine do not heal nor does its keep you from being healed. Don't give place to the devil. Just refused to give him any place. Many times the symptoms will go away if you don't embrace them. Your body obeys your words--- positive or negative, good or bad. Some would say, "what if I make a faith confession and still get sick ?" Just keep saying what God said. God based your faith on experience alone, But on God's Word. You keep confessing God's Word until it becomes a revelation in your spirit man. It takes time to train your spirit. Just like it took time for you to believe the wrong things. You may get sick several times while you are in training, but don't quit just because you are not perfected yet. It is not a fad; it is a way of life. If you continue to say, "I am sick," your words will stop your bodies resistance to that disease or sickness or virus. A bout five years ago, the Lord was dealing with me about the power words and the authority they have over the body. I woke up with a headache. It was just pounding. I seldom have a headache, and my first thought was, I wonder what I am taking. Then I said, "wait a minute ! I refuse to have it." I decided I would act on what the Lord had been showing me about Paul breaking his body into subjection. So I just slap myself or the four he with the palm of my hand and said, "Head, you stop that in the name of Jesus. You come into line with the Word of God." Within two minutes, the headache was gone. I've had many instances like this with my body, and I will repeat what I found in the Scriptures and brothers and sisters it works. Now with other things, it has taken a longer period of time for the manifestation to come.
