COMPARING SPIRITUAL THINGS ! We must compare our spiritual things with spiritual. In other words, you must compare the Bible with the Bible. The spirit of man contacts the spirit of God to find revelation knowledge of these things concerning our everyday lives. Have you ever been to what is called church and it seems as though there is no life there, that's because the Spirit of God is not there. We don't gain revelation knowledge through the carnal mind. Although many believers are trying to operate through the carnality of their minds. Remember, the Scripture says " But if our gospel be hidden it is hidden to them who are lost, in whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them who believe not, least the light of the glorious gospel of Christ shine unto them." Please understand, revelation knowledge comes into the human spirit by the Holy Spirit. The natural physical body does not receive the things of the Spirit of God; but the things of the Spirit of God are received into the human spirit, which is the production center: if you are truly born again. "But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man." (1 Corinthians 2:15). Who is he that is spiritual ? Now, remember, he said to compare spiritual things with spiritual. He that is spiritual judges all things. The part of you that is spiritual is the inner man or the spirit of man. Your spirit judges all things. Your human spirit may pick up things about other people that you do not understand with your natural mind. It has not been revealed to you through the eye or the natural ear or any of the five senses. At times, you sense some things and you don't know how you know, but you know that you know that you know. You will hear people say "don't judge me." However, the truth is to be told; you can tell an apple tree from an orange tree ! Jesus said it this way: "your know the tree by the fruit it bears." Many people will say that they are Christians, prophets, evangelists, pastors, teachers; but Jesus said in (Matthew 7:15 through 20). Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are raving wolves. You shall know them by their fruit ! Now notice, Do Men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles ? He is talking about the fruits of the lips ! Read it for yourself versus 17 through 20.
